《舞出无声的语言——访马金泉》普门杂志 Article of Anthony in PUMEN

本土佛教杂志《普门》特派采访圆访问马老师后,为马老师撰写了一则《舞出无声的语言——访马金泉》。内容描写马老师如何在舞蹈中,用肢体动作这无声的语言符号,诉说个人及华社的喜怒哀乐。
Local Buddhist Magazine 《PUMEN》had interviewed Anthony and came out with an article titled "Dance With Silent Language - Interview of Anthony Meh Kim Chuan". The article descrides how Anthony uses his body language, the silent language, to tell his personal feeling and the thoughts of the Chinese community in Malaysia.

精彩内容摘要Highlight:

“现代舞是文明的语言,华族舞是华人的根本,这两种舞蹈一直都跟着共享空间成长。通过后者,马金泉将华社的心声与精神面貌,搬到舞台上。”
Cotemporary dance is the language of civilisation, Chinese dance is the root of the Chinese people. These two dances are important elements in the development og Dua Space Dance Theatre. Through Chinese dance, Anthony is able to express the thoughts and spirits of the Chinese community in stage.

“华人的特性是含蓄,所以传统华族舞的呈现方式,都是谦谦有礼的。但,这在他编导的华族舞中恰恰相反,舞蹈所呈现出来的,是一种向外拓展的、向外伸张的,让人有种强烈的意欲突破重围的感觉。”
Implicit is the characteristic of Chinese people, so do the performing means of tradisional Chinese dance. However, in the choreography of Chinese dance he made, things are totally different. In his dances, there is a sence of powerful outwards stretch and expension, making people feel the spirit and will of breaking the restaint.
