新加坡艺术节世界首演

共享空间专业舞团将于8月24 至25日到新加坡Causeway Exchange Festival演出舞蹈家马金泉与叶忠文联合创作的新作品《am TO pm》。通过艺术节的演出可以将本地资深的优秀舞者再次展现在国际舞台上，与来自世界不同国家的艺术团体及艺术家有更多的切磋交流与分享。

《am TO pm》带出了世界在时间里走的越来越快，人在世界里自己也越来越模糊。我们生活中的每一天顿时好像别无选择的须要不断地被重复，在am日出而做，在pm日落而停。这演出就好像我们生活中的镜子，带出了我们对日子的观念。

舞蹈界的资深编舞家马金泉与叶忠文 向生活发出舞台的请柬，以独特的演绎方式来呈现这个人生长谈！

演出的专业舞者有曾俊怡 、侯寯弘、廖添益及 林诗珺。他们将在近一个小时的作品里，以不同身体舞动的质感诠释作品的内涵。

共享空间把马来西亚的表演艺术屡次带到国际的平台，包括北京、广州、天津、哈尔滨、首尔、东京、京都、名古屋、香港、台湾、卡拉奇、雅加达、马尼拉、菲律宾及伦敦。现在共享空间再次获邀到新加坡呈现世界首演的 《am TO pm》 。请别错过！

In Singapore Causeway Exchange Festival

Dua Space Dance Theatre will be performing its new piece  《am TO pm》  in Singapore Causeway Exchange Festival on 24^th and 25^th August. Through this performance, local outstanding dancers will have an opportunity to step onto the international platform and to have an artistic exchange among the participants from different countries.

《am TO pm》 brings out the message that the world is spinning far too fast as time goes by, in the same time, humans become confused in this world. The “day” is like a must to repeat and it repeats everyday. We rise at dawn during “am” and down at dusk when it’s “pm”. This performance is like a mirror reflecting what we thought of a “day”.

The experienced choreographers, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap are sending dance invitation to the audience using a unique form of performance to share this comman talk of life.

The performing dancers, Jiunn Chen Jiunn Yee, Howrd Hew Fuh Hoong, Kenny Leow Thiam Aik and Little Lim Shi Jun are the senior dancers of Dua Space Dance Theatre. They are going to use different body languages and movement qualities to present the message of the piece in the 1-hour performance.

Dua Space Dance Theatre have brought Malaysia’s performing arts to many cities including Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Harbin, Seoul, Changmu, Tokyo, Kyoto and Nagoya, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Karachi, Jakarta, Manila, Philippines, London and now Singapore, with the world premier of  《am TO pm》 . 共享空间7月赴京演出 Dua Space Dance Theatre Performing In Beijing Dance Festival

共享空间专业舞团将于7月23日远赴中国北京演出作品《黑白变》，将本地杰出的优秀舞者展现在国际平台上，与来自世界不同国家的艺术团体及艺术家交流切磋。 

《黑白变》的特色仅以黑跟白两种颜色在舞台上呈献，内容以诙谐幽默及严肃主题交替呈献，带出人性与环境的微妙思考。自2010年4月首演后，《黑白变》被誉为“马来西亚表演艺术的惊叹号”并与同年8月载誉重演。这一次获得北京国际艺术节的邀请，在另类平台中演出其中22分钟的精华版选段。此精华版选段曾于2011年受邀演出于菲律宾国际舞蹈节并获得该舞蹈节参与者及观众的高度赞赏。 

编舞家马金泉及叶忠文皆毕业于香港演艺学院舞蹈系，14年回国后发展舞团至今，近年来舞团与外界合作的作品计有《春雷动地》《林连玉传》《动地吟》及两人合作编舞的《巢穴》《TWO》及《后羿与嫦娥》。 

除了参与舞蹈演出的部分，舞团创办人暨总监马金泉老师也获得北京国际艺术节及中国艺术研究舞蹈研究所合办的研讨会邀请为发言嘉宾。该研讨会在23至28日一连六天举行，每天都以不同主题，轻松讨论当前舞蹈的话题。马老师将于26日，联同香港舞蹈联盟的陈颂英一同介绍亚洲青年舞者的生存策略及创作态势，分别讲解马来西亚及香港的情况。

Dua Space Dance Theatre will be heading to Beijing to present their renowned piece ‘Black & White @ VARIATION’ on 23 July. With this opportunity, Dua Space wishes to showcase the locally nurtured dance talents at the international platform and to have an artistic exchange among the participants from different countries around the world during this international dance fiesta. 

‘Black & White @ VARIATION’ is a creative presentation of only black and white colour on stage. It triggers the imagination of the audience by conveying messages of humanity and environmental issues in a humorous yet serious manner. Since its premier in April 2010, ‘the piece was honored as the ‘exclamation mark of Malaysia performing arts’ and it was re-staged in August the same year. This time, upon the invitation from Beijing Dance Festival, Dua Space will perform a 22-minute version of the piece during the Springboard Platform of the festival. This version was presented in Philippines International Dance Festival 2011 and it was highly complimented by the participants and the audience of the festival.  

The choreographers, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap, both graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. After 14 years of developing Dua Space Dance Theatre since their return to Malaysia, the company has a number of renowned pieces such as ‘Rolling Thunder’, ‘The Story of Lin Lian Geok’ and ‘Dongdiyin’ which are collaborative works with local Chinese literature elites that promote cross-over of different art divines; ‘TWO’, ‘DEN’, ‘The Legend of Hou Yi and Chang Er’ and ‘Anak Malaysia’ which are the creations of both talented choreographers themselves.

Besides taking part in the performance, the founder and managing director of the company, Mr Anthony Meh, is invited by Beijing Dance Festival and Dance Department of Chinese National Academy of Arts to become a speaker in the discussion forum they organize during the festival.    Anthony and Anna Chan from Hong Kong Dance Alliance will be sharing their observations on the topic of living strategy and creativeness condition of Asian young dancers from Malaysia and Hong Kong  respectively.

 ‘Black & White @ VARIATION’

黑与白，在颜色色系里是两个截然不一样的色谱，领域分明。

Black and White, colour that totally differs from each other.

黑的，是永远的肯定，从一而终的黑。

Black, an absolute, no others but black.

白的，象征无染，象征纯真，一切唯白是真，但最容易搅和其他的颜色而丧失自己。
White, represents innocence, but it will easily lose its identity once it blends with the others.

黑，唯一也是仅有的机会，就是搅和白，叫作灰。

The only chance of black is to mix with white to become grey.
