If university is the sanctuary to foster poets, the graduates will be the future continuity of the poets. Of course, a poet is trained by the nature, but they can also come from all parts of the world, especially forged by the tempering of life.
On the 17th of June, Dongdiyin which was held in the Kampar UTAR had come to an end. There was a huge crowd of audience, and this occasion was very well-received.

Poet's performance
The Dean of Institute of Chinese Studies in UTAR, Prof Dr. Ho Khai Leong, pleased with the performance of in the university. Before this event, Mr. Ho and Mr. Poh Seng Titt have been organized a poetry competition at the lakeside of the university. The students and the poets exchange their skills in the poetry works. Due to Poet Wong Ah Wah humorous way of hosting the event, everyone was having fun throughout the event. On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Ho hoped that the students of UTAR could appreciate this golden opportunity to learn from each other.

Dua Space Dance Theatre once again participate the event since 2008. The founder of the Dua Space Dance Theatre, Anthony Meh Chuan has been choreograph 3 new dance pieces for Dongdiyin, and taking the role as Stage Manager for the 12 toured performances. The Founder and Company director, together with Artistic Director, Aman Yap Choong Boon, performed together with 7 professional dancers. They subsequently performed 3 poetry works , < The Whole River Red - Die before Realizing Aspirations > and by the founder and choreographer of Dua Space, Anthony Meh. The 3 poetry works were perform distinctively with their own uniqueness and received glorifying respond from the audience.

Dongdiyin is the most significant Chinese poetry recital performance in Malaysia started back in 1988. The creative work from the poets achieved great respond from the audience and in turn received honorable applause from the floor.
