共享空间2010年新春创作《年的故事》 Chinese New Year Production of Dua Space "The Story of Nian"

在古时的中国，老百姓都过着丰衣足食、无忧无虑的生活。有一天，当大家都在田里干活、儿童在门前互相戏嬉、各家各户都忙碌一天的准备之余，山里突然奔跳出一只猙狞的怪兽，袭击民宅。于是大家共心协力，把怪兽赶走了。大家高兴欢呼，认为这是全新日子的到来、新的一年的开始，所以皆称怪兽为年兽，新的一年为“新年”，从此，华人皆有庆祝新一年的到来的传统习俗。

In ancient China, people were living in an affluence, carefree life. One day, when everyone were working in the fields, children were playing and each household were busy preparing the day, suddenly a ferocious monster appeared and attacked the villagers. Then, the villagers worked together to get rid of the monster. Everyone were happy cheering that it was the start of a new year, thus, they named the moster "Nian (which means "Year" in Chinese)" and the new year is "New Year". Since then, Chinese people celebrate the arrival of the new year as a traditional practice.

一个家户愈晓的神话故事，这一次成为了编舞家马金泉老师的创作主题。

以年兽的故事作为蓝本，共享空间在今年的新春佳节里为大家带来新创作——《年的故事》，承续了共享空间一贯的创作风格，以舞蹈及丰富的肢体动作呈现故事内容，与大家共渡一个欢乐的新年。

This time, the famous legendary story of "Nian" becomes the creative theme of our famous choreographer, Anthony Meh for our Chinese New Year production.

Dua Space brings you the new year production - "The Story of Nian", utilizing creative style of dance and body movements to present the story and to celebrate this festive season with everyone!

09-01-10 东南亚佛教青年交流计划“喜悦•联谊•领导”演唱晚会 ASEAN International Buddhist Youth Exchange “Joy, Fellowship, Leadership” Concert

“喜悦•联谊•领导”演唱晚会是一连10天的东南亚佛教青年交流计划的最后一个部分，在位于吉隆坡的马来西亚旅游中心举行，让公众观赏各具才华的佛教青年的演出。舞团也被邀请于当晚参与演出。马金泉老师也为这一次的演出编排了一支新的舞蹈——《敦煌飞天》，呈现敦煌壁画中著名的“飞天”，舞者们舞动身上的彩带，同时也展现了飞天在婆沙起舞的婀娜多姿。另外，舞团也联合世界轮椅冠军钟丰进演出《常随佛学》，赢得在场所有观众的热烈掌声。

“Joy, Fellowship, Leadership” Concert was the last part of the International Buddhist Youth Exchange Program which lasted for 10 days. It was held in Malaysian Tourist Centre and it was opened for public to enjoy the performance of the talented yang Buddhists. Dua Space was invited to present dance pieces during the concert and Anthony Meh also choreographed a new dance piece, namely “Flying Apsaras” which presents the beauty and elegance of the fairies in the famous wall painting of Dun Huang. Besides, Dua Space also presented another dance piece together with World Wheelchair Champion, Chung Hong Tsin, winning the applause from all the audience.



当晚也是马佛青40周年纪念系列活动推介礼，出席嘉宾包括了本地佛教界的人士以及来自东南亚、日本、韩国等国家的佛教青年。

It was also the launching of the series of activities of the 40th anniversary of Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia and it was attended by local Buddhism activists and young Buddhists from ASEAN, Japan, and Korea etc.

Gema Zafana 2009 演出Performance

一连4场的Gema Zafana 2009在Istana Budaya已经圆满落幕。12月26日至29日，晚上8点30分，由Yayasan Warisan Johor呈现的作品，一场以马来传统舞蹈Zapin为主轴，传达马来子民生活与传统习俗的故事。此外，共享空间也受邀参与这次的演出。马金泉老师为这一次演出特别编排的华族舞蹈《华人的故土》让观众留下深刻的印象。

Gema Zafana 2009 was shown in Istana Budaya between 26 to 29 December, every night at 8.30pm. Organized by Yayasan Warisan Johor, presenting a full piece of 2 hour and 30 minutes, mainly focused on the Malay traditional Zapin dance, telling the story of the life Malay people practicing their traditional customs. Besides, Dua Space was honored to be invited to join this performance and Anthony Meh speceially choreographed a dance piece "The Homeland of Chinese" which impressed the audiences.

Gema Zafana 2009 In Istana Budaya

由柔佛政府通过Yayasan Warisan Johor主办的Gema Zafana 2009将于12月26日至29日，在Istana Budaya举行。
Organized by state government of Johor through Yayasan Warisan Johor, Gema Zafana 2009 will be shown in Istana Budaya from 26 to 29 December.

Yayasan Warisan Johor在其编舞On Jaafar的教导及带领之下，以马来传统舞蹈Zapin为基础训练，渐渐发展成为极具特色的舞蹈团体，曾多次在国内外演出并获得很高的评价。
Under the supervision of local famous choreographer, Onn Jaafar, Yayasan Wairsan Johor develop into a unique dance group which based on local traditional Malay dance, Zapin and its performances, either locally or overseas, gained great review from the audiences.

这一次的Gema Zafana 2009是续上一场于2004年举办的Gema Zafana，以呈现Zapin舞蹈为主题，融合全国各个区域不同种类的Zapin融会贯通于舞蹈作品中。此外，舞团及印度舞团Asthana Arts也被邀请参与这一次的演出，让这一场Zapin舞蹈专场的演出更为丰富。若想观看Gema Zafana 2004的演出片断，可以到以下Youtube连址点看。
Gema Zafana 2009 this time is a continuation of the previous show in 2004, presenting Zapin dance as the main theme, including different types of Zapin in the piece. Besides, Dua Space and Indian dance group, Asthana Budaya are being invited to join this production, enriching the elements in this Zapin performance. 12月14日至15日，舞团也移师到柔佛州参与Yayasan Warisan Johor的连排。马老师为这一次的演出特别编排了一支华族舞蹈，舞者也参与Zapin舞蹈，让舞者们有机会学习马来传统舞蹈。
On 14 to 15 December, we moved to Johor to join the rehearsal with Yayasan Warisan Johor. Anthony specially choreographed a Chinese dance for this performance. The dancers also joined the Zapin dance, giving them an opportunity to learn this traditional dance.

作品中，除了各种区域不同的传统Zapin舞蹈，编舞也加入了现代舞的元素，让Zapin发展出更多的可能性。编舞家也运用各种队形及创新的编舞概念让作品整体看起来更生动及富有活力。
In the dance pieces, besides different types of traditional Zapin, the choreographer also includes contemporary dance elements in his choreography, developing more possibilities of Zapin. He also applies all sorts of formations and creative choreography concepts in his dance, making the whole production more lively and energetic.

12-12-2009 林连玉精神奖颁奖礼 Lim Lian Geok Spirit Award Presentation Ceremony

2009年华教节晚宴于12月12日在尊孔独中礼堂举行，大会邀请了由大将出版社社长傅承德发起的舞台文学活动《动地吟》在当晚呈现节目。共享空间也被邀请在这一场《动地吟》中演出。马老师还特别为这一次的演出编排一支舞蹈，联合3位诗人：周若鹏、杨嘉仁以及周若涛，呈现与诗歌朗诵结合的舞蹈。另外，吕育陶、黄建华等诗人、著名音乐人周金亮及安乐书窝的学生们也呈现了诗歌朗诵及咏唱。

当晚也是林连玉精神奖颁奖礼，董总前主席胡万铎及著名人权律师林碧颜荣获此奖项，表扬两人对华教的贡献。

The Chinese Education Day this year was held on 12 December in Confucian Private Secondary School. The organizer invited the literature campaign, Dong Di Yin, founded by the Director of Mentor Publishing, Poh Seng Titt, to perform on the ceremony. Dua Space was also being invited to perform in the show. Anthony Meh even choreographed a dance piece that combined poetry. Besides, poets and students also performed during the show.

That night was also the Lim Lian Geok Spirit Award Presentation Ceremony. The awards were given to personnel that have contributed to Chinese education in the nation to appreciate their contributions.
