08-11-09 马来歌曲创作比赛 Pertandingan Mencipta Lagu Asli 200

马来歌曲创作比赛第一次搬进摄影棚内进行，还在国营电视台RTM现场直播。
这种马来原态歌曲是一种马来歌曲独有的风格，用歌唱的方式，吟唱优美的诗句以表达式中唯美的字句与意境。
舞团总监马金泉老师被国家文化局邀请，为这次的比赛编排一支Zapin舞蹈。舞蹈编排中运用了Zapin独有的拍子架构及舞步，加上华族及印度舞蹈的手舞动作，发展出一种特别的舞蹈种类。舞团联合印度舞蹈团ERA Entertainers Group一起演出这支别有一番风味的Zapin舞蹈。

This Malay song writing competition was held in shooting studio for the first time and broadcasted live on RTM.
Authentic Malay song is a type of Malay song that expresses aesthetic wordings and atmosphere of a poem through singing in melodic tunes.
Anthony Meh was invited by JKKN to specially choreograph a Zapin dance for this competition. In this choreography, Anthony used the typical counting and steps of traditional Zapin, joining with Chinese and Indian dance elements, creating a new style in dancing. Dancers collabarated with ERA Entertainers Group to perform this unique Zapin dance.

03-11-09《大马薪传》方言歌录音 Recording For "Dialect Song" of Anak Malaysia

这天，大家的心情都很紧张！第一次要进录音室叻！一到达录音室，大家就开始暖暖嗓开开音，为接下来的录音作最后的准备。原来录音还真不容易，要对住麦克风，不能到处乱晃，不然，收音会忽大忽小，效果不好。然后，平时习惯动来动去的舞者们就显得格外僵硬！哈哈……
别看短短几分钟的歌曲，要录完还得花上4、5个小时！单单一个“山歌唱出……暗思量……”都得录上快十遍了！

We were very excited since it's the first time we go for recording! Once we arrived, we did some warm up for our voices as preparation for the coming up recording. It's not as easy as we thought. During recording, we were asked to stand close to the microphone but we wer not allowed to move around since the pick up might be unstable. Therefore, the dancers were very uneasy to stiff themselves in front of the mic... Haha...

01-11-09 屠妖节庆典 Deepavali Open House (Majlis Rumah Terbuka Malaysia Deepavali)

结束了10月31日的演出，大家的漏夜启程到波得申去参加11月1日的屠妖节庆典。
Once we finished the performance of 31st October, we had to takee off to Port Dickson to join the performance of Deepavali Open House on 1st November.



一早，大伙儿到演出的地点去排练，在一个叫Siliau地方，周围都是重重的油棕园。演出时，四处都是黑压压的人头，把现场记得满满的。我们的副首相也出席了这一场庆典。现场除了有演出看和很多东西吃外，还有很多很有趣的游戏比赛让大家参与。

Early in the morniong, everyone moved to the venue of performance for practice. It's a place called Siliau with think oil palm plantation around. During the performance, there's people everywhere, filling up every space available at the place! Our Deputy Prime Minister also attended the celebration. On the spot, besides our performance and delicious foods, there's interesting games availbale fot the public to join for fun!

31-10-09 Kha Seng Group Annual Dinner and Dance 2009

本地著名的Kha Seng集团于东方文化酒店宴会厅举办了一年一度的晚宴。舞团受邀演出并于当晚呈现了3支现代舞：《热带雨林》、《辉煌》及《颜染舞色》，深获现场观众的赞赏并以热烈的掌声回报舞者们精彩的演出。

这是一场对舞团非常有意义的一场演出，让新舞者能够有机会演出舞团难度比较高的作品，然而从中成长、进步！

Local Kha Seng Group Sdn. Bhd. organized its annual dinner at the Ballroom of Madarin Oriental Hotel. Dua Space was invited to perform 3 contemporary dance: Tropical Rain Forest, Exalted and Image of Colors, and won great applause from the audience.

This performance was very meaningful to Dua Space as new dancers can perform dances with higher level of techniques in order to improve themselves!

10月的——忙！The Busy October! (Part 2)

忙完了前半个月，后半个月大家也继续忙得不亦乐乎。哈哈！
After the first half of October with busy schedule, we continue the trend during the second half of October -- BUSY!!!

17-10-09 巴生滨海潮州会馆周年庆

配合巴生滨海潮州会馆62周年庆青年团32週年、妇女组9週年庆，同时也为了替他们的教育基金会筹募款项，举办了“百万教育基金”联欢晚会。舞团受邀与晚会上呈现节目。

In conjuction with the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of The Teochew Association Klang & Coast, they organized a performance to raise fund for their education foundation. Dua Space was invited to performed on the event.





18-10-09 一个马来西亚推介礼——与霹雳州人民共庆 Majlis Pelancaran Satu Malaysia Bersama Rakyat Negeri Perak

舞团赴怡保参与由国家文化局主办的“一个马来西亚推介礼——与霹雳州人民共庆”演出。当晚有5万名观众出席，把怡保市的体育馆挤得满满的，场外的道路也被挤得水泄不通。首相也亲自出席此活动推介“一个马来西亚”的概念。

Dua Space joined the performance of Majlis Pelancaran Satu Malaysia Bersama Rakyat Negeri Perak in Stadium Ipoh. On that night, the event was attended by 50,000 audience, congesting the stadium an the transportation to the stadium. Our Prime Minister lso attended the event to launch the concept of "Satu Malaysia (One Malaysia)".

20~21-10-09 槟岛排练之行 Penang Rehearsal Trip

舞团全员和特邀舞者一起北上，到槟城排练年杪在槟城的一个演出活动。是什么演出呢？敬请期待吧！

All the dancers of Dua Space and the guest dancers moved north to the Penang Island to rehearse for a performance which will be staged in Penang at the end of the year.







23-10-09 中华独中领袖营学生的拜访 Visit of Students of Leadership Camp from Chung Hwa High School

中华独中领袖营的学生来拜访舞团。马老师为大家介绍了舞团和讲解有关表演艺术的课题。他还和学生们分享他如何创办、营运及发展舞团，让学生们知道表演艺术在马来西亚的发展。

Students of Leadership Camp from Chng Hwa High School visited Dua Space. Anthony Meh gave them an introduction about Dua Space and a brief idea of performing arts. He then shared with them how he establish, manage and develop Dua Space to let them know about the development of performing arts in Malaysia.







28~29-10-09 屠妖节庆典排练 Deepavali Open House Rehearsal

这两天舞者都到Taman Budaya去排练屠妖节Open House的演出。今年屠妖节官方的庆典将于11月1日在波得申举行，公开让大众一同共庆佳节。

These two days, dancers attended the rehearsal for Deepavali Open House in Taman Budaya. This year, Depavali Open House will be held in Port Dickson on 1st of November and this event is opened for the public to celebrate this light festival together.
