The reporter, Aref Omar interviewed the master brains behind the production of ‘DEN’, including Anthony Meh, Aman Yap and Michelle Yiu, the image design and make up director. They shared the stories behind the production and the creative elements within the performance.

马金泉老师通过文章《留个净土空间》述说共享空间新创作《巢穴》的初衷及愿景，为什么他要当下给观众呈现一个述说环境污染课题的作品。就好像文章里头“有些事情不能再沉默，有些事情必须立刻行动”，希望用艺术唤醒大家关注我们生病的地球、我们唯一的家！

Anthony tells the story of why he created DEN in such a time when the environmental pollution is harming our future. Like what he said in the article, "There's things that we cannot stay silent anymore, there's things that we need to take action immediately", hoping to gain awareness among the audience with arts regarding the environmental issue of our only home!

世界各地，每天都连续上演旱涝天灾，山体崩坏及火山地震等等的事件。辐射及有害制品也每天无声无音侵入广大人们的起居生活，像一张盖天铺地的黑网，蚕食吞噬清静的空间。 Everyday, floods, drought, earthquake and landslides happening all around the world. Radioactive and poisonous particles are invading our lives silently, corrupting our surrounding like a destructive network.

艺术创作并非与现实生活没有关系，文艺工作者并非不食人间烟火者，通过艺术绝对可以讲话及发声，阐述自身立场。
Artists are not living away from what's happening around us, we should voice out trough arts and to stand for our point of view.

地球面临的危机将波及我们日常生活，甚至下一代的生存空间。我们的家只有一个——地球，生及养育我们的地方。没有了她，再再重大的事情也显得没有意义了。
The risks of Earth put us into an endangered situation which affect out livings and even our coming generations. There is only one Earth, the home that grew and nurtured us. Without her, nothing's meaningful!

舞剧Dance Drama《巢穴DEN》——2011共享空间年度创作Annual Production of Dua Space Dance Theatre

共享空间专业舞团将于今年11月17日至20日，在吉隆坡表演艺术中心（The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre，Pentas 2）发表舞团2011年年度创作——《巢穴》。这是舞团近年来创作《黑白变》及《TWO》现代舞剧后另一个长篇创作。
Dua Space Dance Theatre will be staging our annual production of year 2011 entitled “DEN” from 17 to 20 November in Pentas 2 of The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac). This is another creation of feature-length work from Dua Space since the previous “Black & White @ VARIATION” and “TWO”.

《巢穴》是以宇宙一个外星球的毁灭及外星人的逃离却不幸撞毁在地球的虚构故事，反映对地球目前环保的重视及警钟，预言地球未来可能也会面对同样的厄运。此长篇现代舞剧是由创办人兼编舞家马金泉及叶忠文联合创作的作品，同时联合本地多位不同领域的艺术家跨界合作，其中计有本地著名设计师姚冰玲担任化妆及造型总监；多媒体设计新晋薛建翔、多元摄影创意人罗浩庭、黄锦杰和李育胜将联合组成多媒体及360度摄影镜头相结合的有趣设计；李富正则为现场设计出毁坏的太空船，为演出增添不一样的创意元素，让观众犹如置身于故事现场。
“DEN” is a fiction story which a planet within the universe is destroyed and the escaping space craft crashed on Earth during the journey of the outer space creatures seeking for survival. The story emphasizes the significant environmental issues and forecasts the possibility that Earth will be heading the same fate. This feature-length work is a collaboration of choreography by the founders and choreographers of Dua Space Dance Theatre, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap. Besides, artists from various backgrounds will come together to generate a hybrid of creativities and arts, including local renowned makeup artist, Michelle Yiu, as the director of makeup and image design, potential new talent of multimedia design, Sirius Seet, and creative photographers, Helios Loo, KK Wong and Dev Lee will contribute their thoughts and specialties to present a 360 degree multimedia visual, and Lee Hock Seng will install the theatre in the form of crashed space craft in order to give the audience an experience of appearing at the scenes of the story line.

《巢穴》以前卫的造型设计、超现实的多媒体概念、新颖的现场装置以及另类创新的肢体动作融冶於创作及演出之中，呈献一场结合不同领域的艺术创意舞台飨宴。
“DEN” combines sophisticated image designs, surrealistic multimedia concepts, novel environment installations, and unique and innovative body movements in the choreography, presenting a stage performance of combined creativities and arts to the audience.

17 & 18-09-2011 舞蹈课Dance Workshop《动作是一种活建筑Body Elicitation – Movement is Living Architecture》

编舞家、舞蹈家马金泉被邀请于MyDance Festival期间开授大师班及即兴课程。为了让更多舞蹈爱好者受惠，马老师为课程命名《动作是一种活建筑》。他在舞蹈工作坊中将以《即兴课程》及《舞蹈课程》这2个层面及阶段教授给学员，以达到身体与思想2种层次体会的教导。

《即兴课》将带领学员通过自己身体的体验，了解动作结构中的力量、时间及空间（Force / Time / Space）如何创造出许多种截然不一样的动作。通过这个即兴课程的参与，学员能够更加体会舞蹈动作中这3种元素的掌握及理解，进而促进跳舞的无穷乐趣。

《舞蹈课程》则由舞蹈家马金泉亲自授课，在课程上将动作结构中的力量、时间及空间（Force / Time / Space）以有系统的教学法，通过地面、场中及流动（Floorwork / Centrework / Moving in Space），以动作组合的方式教导，让学员可以更明白及体会身体动作的创造，可以理论衍化成系统的审美鉴赏。

Anthony Meh was invited by MyDance Festival to conduct a masterclass and improvisation workshop during the festival. To inspire more dance lovers with his experience, he gave a workshop entitled “Body Elicitation – Movement is Living Architecture” to encourage the better understanding of movement creation and mastering movements, through focusing on force, time and space. By experiencing these elements through their bodies, the participants may create dance movements which are unique and different from the others. With a better understanding of the 3 elements of dance movements, they will gradually enjoy themselves in dancing.

16-09-2011《爱与希望》慈善晚宴Love and Hope Charity Dinner & 《守卫茨厂》艺游老街月光会 Petaling Street Community Art Project

8.30pm 《爱与希望》慈善晚宴Love and Hope Charity Dinner

马来西亚华人残障协会于天后宫主办了《爱与希望》慈善晚宴。共享空间获邀参与当晚的节目演出，为筹款进一份绵力。当天的晚宴共为马来西亚华人残障协会筹得119架轮椅及现金，实现了多位残友想要拥有自己一架轮椅的梦想。

Love and Hope Charity Dinner organized by Persatuan Orang Cacat Cina Malaysia (Malaysian Chinese Handicapped Association) in Temple Thian Hou. Dua Space was invited to participate the performance that night to contribute for the association. The charity dinner successfully raised 119 wheelchairs and funding, making the dreams of the disabled of owning their own wheelchair come true.

9.30pm 《守卫茨厂》艺游老街月光会 Petaling Street Community Art Project

结束了天后宫的演出，舞团马上移师至茨厂街参与《守卫茨厂》艺游老街月光会。该活动为了唤醒民众心中对老街的记忆从而然更多人加入护卫茨厂街及苏丹街因为MRT的建筑而面临被拆除的命运。当晚参与演出的文艺单位包括了本地著名女高音卓如燕、男高音林清福、岑大伟、女高音洪美枫、歌手叶友弟、《乡音考古》张吉安、寿板舞团等等。超过500民大众出席了当晚的演出，显示出大雨浇不熄的情怀，一起以行动来护卫老街！

After the performance at the charity dinner, members of Dua Space moved to Petaling Street to join the street performance of Petaling Street Community Art Project. The project was founded in order to refresh the memories within the hearts of the public and gain more power to withstand the destruction of Petaling Street and Jalan Sultan for the construction of MRT. 18 units comprising of artists, vocalists, and performers had participated the performance and it was attended by more than 500 public despite of the rain throughout the performance.

久违了的MyDance Festival（吾舞节)终于回来了！共享空间有幸被邀请参与此盛会，在舞蹈节的开幕式及本地著名舞团汇演中演出！
MyDance Festival is back! Dua Space was glad to be invited by the organizer for participating the festival by performing during the opening gala and performance of local established dance companies.

为期3周的MyDance Festival 2011 (以下简称MDF)自9月9日的开幕式演出后，将会有共11项舞蹈表演轮番上阵，包括了本地著名专业舞团、新晋独立舞蹈艺人及国际舞蹈团体的演出。MDF 2011乃由吾舞联盟制作，《亚洲舞蹈杂志Asia Dance Magazine》和马大文化中心联办，听同时获得新闻、通讯及文化部属下的国家文化与艺术局鼎力支持。
There were a total of 11 performance happening during the 3-week-long festival of local established dance company, emerging @ independent artists and international dance groups in The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, The Actors Studio @ Lot10 and Malaysia Tourism Centre, starting from the opening gala on 9th September. MyDance Festival is organized by MyDance Alliance, co-organized by Asia Dance Magazine (formerly known as Asia Dance Channel) and Cutural Centre of University of Malaya, supported by Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara (JKKN, National Department of Cultures and Arts).

Dua Space performed an 15 minute excerpt of DEN and won a round applause from the audience with its uniquely desned creative movements and image of the outer space creatures.

共享空间一向来秉持对弱势团体的支持，将于9月16日假天后宫礼堂义演舞蹈节目，编舞家马金泉将带领舞者演出舞团经典华族舞作品《敦煌彩烁》及联合轮椅舞者演出《我要飞》，以艺术的真诚回馈大众给于共享空间的支持而舞团将这份精神再回馈社会的需要协助。

Dua Space persistently support the underprivileged association and they will do a charity performance for Pertubuhan Orang Cacat Cina Malaysia on 19 September in Tokong Tian Hou。 Director Anthony Meh will lead the dancers to perform Chinese calssical dance 《Dun Huang》 and 《I Want To Fly》 with a wheelchair dancer. As Da Space has been supported by the public, they wish to pay it back by contributing and supporting the society in need.

茨场街街头演出 Street Performance at Petaling Street @ 9.30pm

当政府坚意的想要将茨场街及苏丹街等一带古老建筑区毁失而在其之上兴建MRT工程，舞团联合国内16个文艺团体及文艺工作者站在最前线，以文艺街头表演的概念向政府说——“不”。我们已经失去一座历史悠久及珍贵的富都监狱，当历史文化特别的硬体逐一消失，马来西亚将成为无根记忆的国家。保卫茨场街及苏丹街等建筑的古迹不是因它是华人早期历史的根源而已，它更远远超出是一个国家有根及历史性的见证。
朋友，请来与我们一起，为我们的国家保佑根生，让政府知道发展国家不必作如此巨大的牺牲，事在人为，政府还有其它更好的选择，作为国民的我们要让政府知道——那个更好的选择。

On the same day, Dua Space will be performing in the street performance in Petaling Street with 15 others units and artistes in order to voice out the unwillingness of having the historical buildings in Petaling Street and Jalan Sultan to be abolished for the purpose of development and construction of MRT.
Come support the event and we hope the government would listen to our request of reserving the historical sites after loosing the precious Pudu Jail.

《春雷动地》总结篇 The Final Chapter of 'Rolling Thunder'

续怡保及槟城演出造成轰动后，《春雷动地》继续上路。8月7日踩上巴生福建会馆的舞台，演出这段本地华社的故事。演出结束后，全体观众站立鼓掌，如雷的掌声，犹如他们心中心情的擂动，激动与感慨交织出的一份感动。该演出成功为巴生四独中、二国中及国民型中学华文学会筹得16万款项。

Since performance in Ipoh and Penang, ‘Rolling Thunder’ went on with its tour performance in Hokkien Association of Klang on 7 August, successfully raising 160 thousands for the Chinese language and culture societies of 4 private high schools, 2 national secondary schools and primary schools.

27 & 28-08-2011 南马行To The South~柔佛峇株吧辖Batu Pahat&古来宽柔中学分校礼堂 Hall of Foon Yew High School, Kulai

接着下来，是分别于8月27日于柔佛峇株吧辖海景宴宾楼及28日在柔佛古来宽柔中学分校礼堂两场的巡演。南马之行，演出的精彩与制作团队的紧张实在是不相伯仲。27日峇株吧辖的演出为筹募峇株华仁中学e化校园基金筹获80万经费。演出结束后，制作团队马不停蹄地把舞台演出器材拆解，再漏夜运往古来演出场地，彻夜未眠地组装设置。（真辛苦了制作团队！）演员也不辞劳苦地草草睡了一觉，便前往古来宽柔中学分校礼堂彩排演出。古来的演出是巡演开跑以来成功筹获最大笔数目的演出，总数为200万，并捐于笨珍培群中学建校基金。看来大家的苦劳都获得回报！能够为教育做出如此贡献，再多的劳累，都是值得！

Following are the performances on 27 and 28 August in Batu Pahat and Kulai branch of Foon Yew High School respectively. The tight schedule of two performances in a row at different places really put the staging crew under great pressure. However, the performance raised a total of 800 thousand for electronic project of Chinese High School, Bat Pahat. After the performance in Batu Pahat ends, the crew had to take off all the stage equipments (lighting etc) and reinstall them in the hall of next performance. They had to get the setting done by staying up the whole night. (Really appreciate they hard works here!) The performers simply took a nap in Batu Pahat then rushed to Kulai for rehearsal. Their efforts were paid off with the success of the performance and the fund of 2 million raised for the development and construction foundation of Pei Chun High School of Pontian.

After the performances, the members of ‘Rolling Thunder’ visited Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, a historical spot of Johor. On their journey back to KL, they stopped by Melacca for a half-day trip.

03-09-2011 森美兰芙蓉中华中学礼堂 Chung Hua High School of Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

9月3日，最后一场的《春雷动地》在森美兰芙蓉中华中学礼堂公演。演员们高涨的情绪，渲染了现场的观众。演出为林连玉纪念馆筹获5万元建设款项。完美的最后一次公演，《春雷动地》在一片欢呼声及掌声中结束！

Finally, it was the last performance of the epic musical performance to take place at Chung Hua High School of Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. The atmosphere was intense and emotions were infectious. By raising 50 thousand for the construction of Lin Lian Geok Memorial Hall, the final staging ended within the rolling sound of applause.

后记Postscript

自去年12月隆雪华堂开演，今年4月份巡回演出开始踏上第一站——怡保，接着到槟城、巴生、柔佛峇株吧辖、古来、及森美兰，史诗歌舞剧《春雷动地》共9场演出，全马观众人数超过1万1千人，为各地华校及林连玉基金会筹得一笔款项。若你问大家做得足够了吗？我想他们会说自己做得永远不够……

Since it took off during December 2010 in the Chinese Assembly Hall of Selangor and KL, epic musical Rolling Thunder stepped across places like Ipoh, Penang, Klang, Batu Pahat and Kulai of Johor, and finally Seremban, it had performed a total of 9 shows with the audience number exceeding 11 thousand people. It also raised an amount of fund for each targeting school and LinLian Geok Foundation. If you think they have done enough, they will say what had been carried out was not sufficient and it never will.

最后一场演出后，森華堂前會長周世揚先生對制作人傅承得說：“春雷動地已成為經典。”
《春雷动地》除了感动了观众的心、回原了一片集体失忆的历史事迹，最重要的是缔造了一种信念，这信念就叫“相信”！《春雷动地》让大家相信本地的制作有能力与世界相搏，相信华人子弟在本土也有自己的历史，虽然艰辛，这片土地，还是生及养育我们的地方。同时，也相信华社与华教能够自给自足的可能性。

During the last performance, former president of Seremban Chinese Assembly Hall told the producer, Mr Poh Seng Titt that ‘Rolling Thunder has become a classic.’

Besides the touching of the performance and the restore of an important piece of forgotten history, ‘Rolling Thunder’ has created ‘Believes’ among the hearts of the Chinese. They believe that local production can stand in par with international standard, they believe that Chinese community has their stories written with blood and tears on this land that nurtured and grew us and at the same time, they believe that Chinese community and education can survive by our own strength and effort!

這是大家共同努力的成果。希望《春雷动地》之后，能够藉由今年《林连玉传》，再给社会播下更多的种子，期许以后能够长成一片茂密的森林，一座护卫我们民族的堡垒！

This is the outcome of the hard works of the team. We hope that the journey started from ‘Rolling Thunder’ will continue with ‘The Story of Lin Lian Geok’ and eventually, to become a powerful force of protecting our pride and culture in the future.

06-08-2011 St. Ella New York Creative Makeup Contest Grand Final

美丽乐集团为配合他们主办的St. Ella New York创意化妆比赛在Berjaya Time Square举行的总决赛，邀请舞团于当天的比赛中呈献舞蹈。为了配合彩妆比赛的主题，舞团总监兼编舞马金泉老师特别创作一支结合舞蹈与造型化妆设计的舞蹈《Zoom In——美丽的愿景》。找来本地著名化妆师Michelle Yiu及Makeupyourmind Academy负责造型设计及彩妆的部分。当两种不同领域的艺术结合，擦出亮眼的火花，让人惊艳！

Dua Space was invited by Melilea Group to perform during the St. Ella New York Creative Makeup Contest Grand Final held in Berjaya Time Square. To synchronize with the theme of the contest, Anthony Meh, the choreographer of Dua Space, collaborated with local renowned makeup artist, Michelle Yiu and her team of Makeupyourmind Academy to combie dance and creative makeup and image design. Their work led to an astonishing outcome of the collision of different art streams, bringing the wonderful dance piece entitled 《Zoom In - The Vision of Beauty》.

此外，舞团还特别呈现了黑白版的《辉煌》，让一向亮晶晶的黄金瞬间变成超酷的黑与白！
Besides, Dua Space also presented a special version of 《Exalted》where the blings of golden where turned into the cool tone of black and white!

25-07-2011 余仁生周年庆 Anniversary of Eu Yan Sang

共享空间专业舞团的荣誉赞助——余仁生集团于7月25日，假吉隆坡香格里拉宴会厅举办周年庆。马金泉老师特别为当晚的演出改编舞蹈《马来风情》，以舞蹈展现出马来西亚这个热带雨林国家的热情与融洽。以吉兰丹的传统歌谣作为编舞的背景，舞蹈表现出了马来西亚多元文化与民族之美，充满本土生活情趣及草根情怀。

The honorary sponsor of Dua Space Dance Theatre, Eu Yan Sang had its anniversary dinner at Shangri-La Hotel on 25 July. Anthony Meh specially re-choreographed a dance piece "The Landscape of Malaysia", presenting the image of Malaysia multi-racial background and the lively harmonious living of the nation of this tropical country.

由林连玉基金主办的“林连玉传：族魂林连玉与华教先贤的奋斗” 史诗歌舞剧，将于8月21日（日）在吉隆坡教总大厦林连玉基金办事处4楼，主办舞蹈员、演员及歌手面试招考，欢迎有兴趣的朋友踊跃报名参加。
The epic musical “The Story of Lin Lian Geok”, organized by LLG Cultural Development Centre, is calling for an audition for talents in dancing, acting and singing on 21 August (Sunday) at the office of LLG Cultural Development Centre, located at the 4th Floor of Bangunan UCSTAM.

此史诗作品由我国著名诗人作家傅承得担任制作总监，联合国内著名音乐家周金亮、舞蹈家马金泉、诗人黄建华、教育工作者林明志及等逾30位文艺界专业人士携手打造，于今年12月17日在尊孔独中礼堂举行首演，是继广受迎、去年与今年巡回全国9场之“春雷动地”史诗歌舞剧后的另一本土巨作。
The epic musical will be staged on 17 December in the school hall of Confucian Private Secondary School. With local renowned poet, Poh Seng Titt as the producer, associating with Chow Kam Leong (local famous musician/composer), Anthony Meh Kim Chuan (dance artist/choreographer), Wong Ah Wah (poet), Lim Ming Chee (educator), and over 30 professionals from literature and art industry, the epic musical is the second local big-scale production after the well-acclaimed epic musical “Rolling Thunder” which has toured all around Malaysia in 2010 and 2011.

林连玉的遭遇，是本土全体华人的故事，也是马来西亚人的故事。史诗歌舞剧“林连玉传”主要描述族魂林连玉一生捍卫华教的精神，并提出全体国民应不分种族，共同建设一个共存共荣、多姿多彩与和平进步的马来西亚的大我观念和关怀。他不只主张各族应爱护自身的母语教育，也认为全体国民要超越种族，克尽公民的责任以保卫我们的国家。此外，这出史诗歌舞剧即歌颂林连玉的高瞻远见及突显他捍卫华教的峥嵘风骨，同时也赞扬与他并肩奋斗的华教先贤，并向他们敬礼。
The catastrophe of Lin Lian Geok is not only the story of local Chinese but also a story to share among Malaysian. “The Story of Lin Lian Geok” describes the indomitable spirit of Lin Lian Geok, who was acknowledged as “Soul of the Race”, contributing for local Chinese education. He pronounced that all residents of the country should collaborate, despite of the races, to build a diversified, peaceful and advanced nation in the future where honors and glories are shared among everyone. He advocated to the preservation and appreciation of mother tongue of all races and urged to fulfill the responsibility of a nation’s resident by protecting and loving our country. Furthermore, the musical praises his visions beyond the difference among all races and highlights his character of towering strength for building Chinese education, at the same time, complimenting and saluting the pioneers of local Chinese education who fought together with Lin.

Dua Space was invited to present a contemporary dance piece during GERAK 2011l. Anthony Meh choreographed a dance piece named 《Our Exuberant City》 which combines the traditional and modern elements of dance and choreography to show the energetic and exuberant living in a multi-cultural city and the dance impressed the audience with its dance techniques and creativity.

本地油画画家陈艾霙老师的油画作品于马来西亚东禅寺佛光缘美术馆展出，画展取名为 “ 畫裡霙情 ”，顾名思义，希望藉由陈老师的作品，让更多人认识本地另一实力派画家。马金泉老师续今年与吴亚鸿老师合作后，再次应邀为吴老师的高徒（既陈老师）演出。舞蹈亦取名为 “ 畫裡霙情 ”，在画展的开幕仪式中演出。舞作以陈老师的油画风格出发，不但色调、彩妆、主题等与展出的画作呼应，更是为了给本地艺术家的一种精神扶持与撑伞，祝福陈老师的个展展出成功。

Local oil paint artist, Tan Ai Ying will have her paintings exhibited in Fo Guang Yuan Dong Zen Art Gallery. The exhibition entitled 'Feel·ying's' is to share the artist's feelings through her paintings and to introduce another local great artist to the public. Since performing with Goh Ah Ang, local renowned painting artist, Anthony now perform for Tan Ai Ying, who is the student of Goh, in the launching of her personal oil paint exhibition. The dance based on the theme, style and color tone of the paintings of Tan not only corresponded to the paintings of Tan but also showed Anthony's support and wish for Tan, hoping that her exhibition will be successful.

Born in 1964, graduated from Top-Art School of Art (Graphic Design) in 1988. She's presently the Head of Children Art Department & lecturer in Art Teachers' training at Top-Art, Secretary of the Association of Artists, Klang. Organising chairperson of the women's day "Rainbows Alive" Art & Calligraphy Exhibition (1998-2011), panel judge in the 40th World School Children Art Competition (2009), Taiwan.

It was a day all the big hands behind internationally renowned brands of enterprises, cultural bodies and more gathered at the Palace of Golden Horses. The 2010 Global Golden Brands Awards were held at venue to acknowledge people who has contributed for developing the wonderful brands around the world. The founder and managing director of Dua Space Dance Theatre, Anthony Meh was awarded the honour of Cultural Character of the Year! Congratulation Teacher Anthony!

We were very glad that after all these years of hard works Anthony put into developing local performing arts and dance professionalism and finally he was acknowledged with such an honourable title!

I was not thinking of any reward along the 13-year hard-work but only to provide a platform for local arts which could purify and elevate the souls of human being. 由雪州政府主办的2011卫塞节庆典在Auditorium Dewan Jubli Perak, Shah Alam举行。以歌舞呈献，与大家共度一个充满法喜的晚上。舞团被邀参与当晚的演出，呈献古典舞《敦煌》及《我要飞》两支风格不一样的舞蹈。除此以外，参与演出的单位还包括了本地著名印度艺术舞蹈团Temple of Fine Arts (TOFA)、菩提工作坊、培杰等等的歌手及本地数个佛教音乐团体。

Organized by the state government of Selangor, the celebration of Hari Wesak 2011 was held in Auditoriun Dewan Jubli Perak, Shah Alam where dancing and singing accompanied the audience for a joyful evening. Dua Space presented Dun Huang, an aesthetic classical dance and I Want To Fly, inspiring piece featuring world wheelchair dance champion, Chung Hong Tsin. Besides, other performing groups included Temple of Fine Arts （TOFA）, Bodhi Group and some other Buddhist choirs.

舞团被菲律宾国家文化及艺术局属下的舞蹈委员会邀请参加第3届Dance Xchange(舞·交流)——菲律宾国际舞蹈节。该舞蹈节与4月27日至29日于菲律宾首都马尼拉举行。主办单位分别邀请来自马来西亚、香港、台湾、英国、泰国、汶莱、新加坡、韩国、越南及菲律宾本地著名的舞蹈团参加这次的舞蹈盛会。舞团有幸被邀请代表马来西亚出席该活动。另一只马来西亚的队伍来自砂劳越古晋。

Dua Space performed in "Dance Xchange ~ Philippines International Dance Festival and Lectures" held by Dance Committee (Shirley Halili Cruz as the Chairperson) under the Ministry of Culture and Arts from 27 t0 29 April. The event was organized at Manila, the capital city of Philippines and the participants were invited from UK, Hong Kong, Thailand, Brunei, Singapore, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia and Philippines itself. Dua Space was a t such an honour to be invited as first professional contemporary dance company in Malaysia.

十三年，共享空间专业舞团用了一段很长的时间，从无到有，从小做起，慢慢地成长。路上当然经历了不少风浪，大起大跌的荆棘之路。马金泉老师为了肩负起舞团行政的工作，不得不放下心里头最爱的舞蹈，藏身于繁琐的行政工作里头。叶忠文老师则为了陪舞者成长，把其国际舞蹈家的身份放下，一同跑遍各类大演出。
Dua Space Dance Theatre has been established for 13 years since 1998. There are stories, happy or sad, to be told along the path. Anthony Meh has to hide his true love of dancing in order to carry out the chores of adminisrtation and Aman has to throw away his title of international dance artist to accompany the dancers in their journey of growth.

如今，共享空间离开了他们的襁褓，渐渐的羽翼丰满，是时候开始起飞了！马老师与叶老师趁着起势当头，率先重演两人1998年回流大马后的首部作品《TWO》。接下来，是时候让共享空间这孩子开始彩绘自己的舞蹈天空了！

Epic Musical 'Rolling Thunder' that surged the Chinese community in December last year was said to be a high standard musical performance. Now, 'Rolling Thunder' is going on tour in order to present the stories of the seniors of Chinese community in 70s and 80s. The first stop will be in Poi Lam High School, Ipoh, Perak, on 10th April, 2pm.

1998年舞蹈家及编舞家马金泉与叶忠文从美国纽约回流马来西亚，两人当时正值30而立的年华岁月。他们出生背景各异，成长经历殊途，但在舞蹈世界的语言里，两人舞动肢体所碰触迸发的交际线火花，正是《TWO》这部流动型装置艺术、剧场、戏剧、舞蹈、雕塑以及环境编舞多元元素创作的作品，是两人对生命感悟的对话，那年他们分别是30岁的马金泉及31岁的叶忠文。
The dance artists / choreographers, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap were at their 30s when they returned to Malaysia from US in 1998. They had different backgrounds of living and experience during their growth. But in the world of dance, the sparks ignited by the interaction of their body movements - , a piece combining multiple elements like mobile installations, theatre, dance, sculpture and environmental choreography, is the conversation between them about their thoughts and perceptions of ‘Life’. During that time, they were Anthony Meh at his 30 and Aman Yap at his 31.

30年的教养生活，对生命理解的观照，也透视对命运与社会复杂异常的交际网络，“反抗”是而立之年的心态。两位艺术家将这个莫名言语的“反抗”心态，用《TWO》这个作品吐纳心声。
For people entering their 30s, their experience of living and learning, the way they look back at their life, and struggling in the complicated relationship of fate and life, ‘Resistance’ is the their mentality. The two artists express their thoughts of resisting controls and constrains in their life through the performance of 'TWO'.

从1998年舞蹈家马金泉及叶忠文首演《TWO》，经历1999年的国内巡回演出，2000年也开始了海外国际的巡演，2位艺家将马来西亚的表演艺术带到国际舞台的各大艺术节。
Since performing the premiere of 'TWO' in 1998, the piece had toured locally in 1999 and performed overseas in 2000. The two artists brings the Malaysian performing arts to the international arts scene.

在2011年重演当年2人联合编舞的《TWO》，艺家马金泉及叶忠文经历了在大马这片国土开拓专业舞蹈艺术的种种体验。马金泉为了发展专业舞团，于2004年退下跳舞的舞台，卯足心力培养专业舞者及经营国内艺术市场。舞蹈家叶忠文则将自己国际艺术家的身份隐藏褪下，陪同新一代的舞者，为求舞团的生存空间而演出。同时，2位艺家坚持舞团每年做一或二台的艺术创作演出，以自求多福，一步一脚印的相信，走出2人共创共享空间专业舞团的春天。
Having their co-creation restaged in 2011, Anthony and Aman had experienced the difficulties of developing dance professionalism in Malaysia. To develop the dance company, Anthony had to stop dancing on stage but concentrating on nurturing a new batch of professional dancers and managing the local market for arts. As for Aman, he retired from the position of an internationally renowned dance artist and accompanied the new batch of dancers, doing business performances in order to seek for living for the dance company. However, they insisted to have at least one or two featured performances of the company for their own production every year. With the independent way of living and survival, and believing in their efforts and targets, they slowly create a bright future for Dua Space Dance Theatre.

Anthony had stopped dancing for 6 years and Aman had hidden his identity of international dance artist for 6 years as well. Now, in 2011, both of them will return to the performing stage both locally and internationally. Within these 10 years, they have widened their perspective on life and the world after what their have gone through. Their experience and knowledge are transformed into part of their arts, making them able to achieve a deeper, wider and higher state of arts and thinking. In 2011, these two dance artists will set their feet on the arts arena of Malaysia for the second time with a brand new look and spirit, heading to the international performing stage.

续马金泉老师应马来西亚佛光山的邀请，在东禅寺禅意空间演出禅舞，与本地著名画家吴亚鸿老师合作后，马老师再次被邀请于雪州雪州皇城艺术家协会及巴生博雅艺术中心假“博雅”展示厅举办的第14届妇女节《画出彩虹》书画展开幕式中呈献舞蹈独舞《白·颜生》。该画展结合了本土多位女性画家的作品联合展览，同时也邀请了马来西亚佛光山宗住持——觉诚法师主持开幕。
Since performing in "Expressions of Zen" in Dong Zen Temple, Anthony Meh was invited by local famous artist, Mr Goh Ah Ang, again, to perform in the launching ceremony of The 14th Women's Day Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, organized by Association of Artists (Klang ,Selangor) and Top-Art School of Art (Klang). Anthony performed his special solo choreography "White - Where Colors Born" during the ceremony held in Top Art. The Exhibition displayed the art works of women artists and Master Jue Cheng of Malaysia Fo Guang Shan was invited to launch the exhibition.

一幅画家的作品，是经历过许多时间的磨练及思考，才逐渐完成。舞蹈家马金泉冥想自己成为一个画家的身份，在纯白的画纸上彩绘下许多动人的色彩，他舞进了画家的世界，以画家气象万千的天马行空，舞出画画的意象，纯白画纸的悠然世界。
A painting is incomplete without the honing of time and mind. By imagining himself as a painter, Anthony Meh presents the image of a painting with unrestrained creativity where dancing is to draw and paint on a pure white drawing paper, leaving unlimited space for the colors.

观音基金会邀请舞团在3月5日观音基金会感谢传媒聚餐上呈献舞蹈。马金泉老师特别编排舞蹈《慈航普渡》，采用了本地音乐家周金亮为歌舞剧《宝镜》作曲的歌曲《花香满天》，以音乐诗词作为编舞的想像，无边无际的万家灯火中的无明众生，在欲望的黑海中痛苦生活，慈悲的观音菩萨慈航普渡，救苦救难，以大爱普渡众生。

Yayasan Guan Yin invited Dua Space to perform on their Media Appreciation Gathering n 5th March in their chamber of Yayasan Guan Yin in The Summit Hotel. The choreographer, Anthony Meh specially choreographed 'The Guidance of Mercy', using the music composed by Mr Chow Kam Leong for The Musical 'The Magical Mirror'. Inspired by the lyric and the song, Anthony Meh made his choreography corresponds with the story where the great Boddhisattva Guan Yin guide the livings through the sea of darkness with her light of mercy.

《禅意空间》结合雕塑、画与舞蹈，在新年期间，为马来西亚佛光山东禅寺带来一抹艺术气息。《禅意空间》里展示了台湾雕塑大师——杨英风老师《无相无形雕塑》及马来西亚著名画家——吴亚鸿老师《禅画》的雕塑及画作。同时，佛光山也邀请了本地著名舞蹈家——马金泉老师以两者静态禅意的维度，创作出禅心观照静动天地的《禅舞》。他以相融并生的手法，在空间、精力、时空对应，拿捏出动静、虚满及真幻的禅舞创作，在观念上带出属于演出亦非演出的作品，象征“空有”及“空无”的喻意呈献，以现实当下观照本来无一物，何处惹尘埃的拈花微笑。

这次的重点演出中，将创造出本地舞蹈家、画家及海外艺术家联合创作的一种新气象。

Local famous dance artist Anthony Meh, who is also the holder of The Outstanding Young Malaysian Award 2008, uses dance movements of both dynamic motions and static postures, together with Shapeless & Invisible The Sculpture of Taiwan renowned Sculpture-making master, Yu-Yu Yang and local famous paint artist, Goh Ah Ang who presents the quiescent state of Zen in his paintings, they created a synergistic integration of the ‘Expressions of Zen’, to exhibit dance performance and art pieces which virtuality and reality correspond with space, energy and time in the reflection of Buddhist wisdom.

This year, Dong Zen Temple invited local famous dance artist, Mr. Anthony Meh to choreograph a dance drama named presented by Dua Space Dance Theatre.

继去年于东禅寺演出之新春舞剧《年的故事》获得观众热烈回响。今年新春共享空间专业舞团再次以活泼新颖，且贴近生活的方式呈献，更融入舞蹈、戏剧及动人歌曲结合的舞台创作《回家过年》，为大马的农历新年带来一阵清岚艺风。节目也巧妙的表达华人过年的传统习俗，让各年龄层能够中华文化有更深一层的了解。
This time, Dua Space Dance Theatre perform this lively dance drama by not only combining dance, drama and songs, they introduce some Chinese traditional customs as well in order to let the public know more about Chinese cultures.

除了春趣盎然，更特别温馨提醒离家的游子及忘记回家的人，记得在忙碌的一年里抽空回家团聚。舞剧通过一个现实真实的故事引领大家明白家的温暖与温馨，家也是长期流浪后一个给你停泊歇息的地方。
Besides celebrating this festive seasons, purposely choreograph to remind everyone the importance of going home to celebrate Chinese New Year with family. So we hope everyone can enjoy a warm Chinese New Year with your beloved family.

公开的户外演出，难免会遇上天不作美的时候。演出中途，大雨倾盆而降，舞者们不中断演出，奋力在风雨中展开身体，舞动手中的扇子。观众也为了给于台上表演的我们最大的鼓励及支持，纷纷在雨中撑起雨伞，坚持看完演出。觉诚法师为了让接下去的演出能够继续进行，把所有的表演者及观众聚集在舞台上，让所有人在舞台上共歌共舞，形成一个别开生面的情景。尽管外面的风雨在大，大家的心里因为有彼此在身边陪伴而倍感温暖！
There was a day where rain started to pour during the middle of the performance. The dancers did not stop the performance but instead, they continued dancing and moving the fans in their hands. To give their best support to the performers, the audience did not leave immediately but holding umbrella in the rain until the performance finished. In order to continue with the subsequent program, Master Jue Cheng invited all the performing units and audience to move onto the stage and this created a special scene where the audience and performers were all on stage, continue to celebrate with joy and warmth in their hearts even though its raining.

忙碌了一整年，舞团在农历新年来临之前举办了一年一度的收工宴，地点在邵氏广场紫藤餐厅，慰劳大家在虎年里辛辛苦苦的工作及演出。当然，熟语有云——《一份耕耘，一份收获》，舞团在大家过去一年一度的努力不懈下，渐渐地在本地打开知名度，同时也将演出重心挪到剧场演出的部分。新春创作《年的故事》以艺术教育及推广为出发点，新春期间在各个地方演出，也将华人文化教育呈现于舞台上。4月份，长篇现代舞作品《黑白变》以国际路线为创作目标。两次重演观众反应热烈，这作品也将赴海外艺术节演出，将大马的艺术种子带到更远的地方。9月份，舞团获邀参加歌舞剧《敦马哈迪》，歌颂我国尊贵的第4任首相敦马哈迪医生。加上2011年1月重演，此歌舞剧在国家剧院演出共31场。2010年12月，舞团也结合文学界、音乐界及教育界的杰出人物，演出马来西亚史诗歌舞剧《春雷动地》，并获得亚洲周刊评论撰文给与及高的评价。

After a busy year in 2010, we had our annual company dinner at the Purple Cane Restaurant at Shaw Parade in order to reward everyone for their hardwork for the whole year. With everyone's collaboration, Dua Space had moved further along the year. We had The Story of Nian performed during the Chinese New Year festive season which not only promote Chinese culture and it also emphasized on promoting arts and developing arts education among the public. In April, we had Black & White @ VARIATION, a full-length contemporary dance piece with international standard. The piece was performed twice in April and August with overwhelming response from the audience and it will be performing in overseas arts festival, bring Malaysia;s performing arts to the international arena. In September, Dua Space was invited to join the production of Tun Mahathir Musical. The musical was restaged in January 2011, total up 33 performances in Istana Budaya. In December 2010, by collaborating with local literature elite, musicians and educators, Dua Space joined the epic musical Rolling Thunder and won the compliments from Yazhou Zhoukan, The International Chinese Newsweekly.

2011年里，舞团将会有更大的蜕变。在过去的12年日夜拼搏的日子里，舞团也累积出了一定的本土经验及观点，引领舞团走向更专业化的本土思考。感谢大家持续的鼓励与支持，让舞团在本地及海外，以岁月撰写本土首创专业舞团的维度。

自2010年9月首演后，歌舞剧《敦马哈迪》19场的演出，把我国第四任首相敦马哈迪医生的故事呈现于舞台上，歌颂这位大马历史上不可多得的传奇人物在他担任我国首相22年内的丰功伟绩。共享空间有幸被邀请参加这演出。实在是光荣。此外，舞团创办人马金泉老师亦被邀请为该歌舞剧编舞。

Since the premiere performance of Tun Mahathir Musical in 2010, the musical successfully staged the story of our forth Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir and his contributions for our country within his 22-year tenure in the position. Dua Space was honoured being invited to participate the performance. Besides, the founder of Dua Space, Antony Meh was appointed as the choreographer for the musical.

This time, dated from 19th to 30th January 2011, Tun Mahathir Musical Season 2 invited a greater casts and team, including local famous artists and actors and hosts, playing the characters of the musical alive on stage. Again, Dua Space was invited as the main performing dancers and what worth mentioning is, Anthony Meh was given the title of Dance Director during the second season and he restructured the dance pieces in the musical, bringing the level of performance to a higher standard!

受紫藤集团的邀请，舞团在MidValley紫藤《吉庆丽年》展销会演出新春舞码《喜迎春》为大家拜个早年。
两场演出分别在1月16日晚上8点及1月23日下午3点，假Midvalley紫藤《吉庆丽年》展销处登场。
演出开始前，舞者扮演的“大头娃娃”穿梭在观众人群中嬉戏玩乐，同时和现场的观众来个互动暖场，让大家在演出中更加有参与感。

Upon the invitation from Purple Cane, Dua Space performed "Joy of Spring" in Purple Cane MidValley "A Tea-rific Year" Promotion Activity to wish everyone an early Happy Chinese New Year. The performances were on 16th and 23rd January, 8pm and 3 pm respectively, at the promotional area of Purple Cane.
Before the performance started, Big Head Doll played by the dancers played around among the audience, interacting with them in order to elevate the atmosphere among the audience.

这一次的演出非常特别，由于演出进行中途，音响系统突然“凸槌”，发生故障。然而，让人叹为观止的是舞者以超强的默契及丰富的肢体节奏感，完成一场让观众屏息的无声演出。哈哈……那是又惊又喜！精彩！

The performance was a little 'unusual' as the audio system broke down during the performance. However, the dancers were able to finish the performance, holding the breath of the audience by dancing out of their perfect correspondence of mind the their rhythmic body movements, under the silent mode of the performance. Bravo!

马来西亚华社文艺精英倾巢而出，演出史诗歌舞剧《春雷动地》，回顾七、八十年代风起云涌的社会事件，向当年为捍卫弱势群体权益而遭受打压的前辈致敬，也勉励新一代继续推动国家前进。 ——林友顺《亚洲周刊》
Presented by the leading Malaysian Chinese cultural elite, epic musical “Rolling Thunder” is to look back at the incidents took place in 70’s and 80’s in order to salute our seniors who were suppressed for their act of defending the right for the underprivileged group and to encourage our new generation to continue contributing for the future of our country.

《春雷》(春雷文艺大汇演)是1974年由马来亚大学华文学会主导，大马逾40个文艺团体参与的大型文艺表演，不过在最后一分钟因当局的一张禁令而被腰斩。当局是担心带有左倾色彩的春雷可能壮大国内左翼力量，因此采取强硬手段禁止春雷演出，同时逮捕多名春雷主要负责人，这令蓬勃发展的左翼文艺运动顿时消沉。
The performance of 《Spring Thunder》 was organized by the Chinese Language Society of University Malaya in 1974, combining more than 40 cultural performing groups but was called off abruptly due to its left-wing identity.

《动地吟》则是八十年代末期一批文化人以诗来陈述知识分子对社会不平心中的纳闷。
《Dong Di Yin》was a platform created by a batch of local poets and cultural intellectuals to express their feelings of injustice about the society through poems in the end of 80s’.

酝酿已旧的史诗歌舞剧《春雷动地》在隆雪华堂隆重登场，于12月18及19日演出为数3场震撼人心的舞台演出，结合歌、舞、诗呈献七十与八十年代的史迹，主要是围绕在影响华社深远的事件。
The epic musical 《Rolling Thunder》performed in the Chinese Assembly Hall of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor on 18 and 19 December which combines singing, dancing and poetry reading presented the historical incidents during 70s’ and 80s’, mainly the happenings that affected the Chinese community.

事隔36年，当年的春雷人许多以是年近或逾60岁，可是春雷并没有消失，在有心人的策划下，春雷再响。《春雷动地》虽然无法还原《春雷》当年的演出，不过却激起春雷当年的热情与精神。
After 36 years 《Spring Thunder》 being called off, under the planning and organization of the committee of 《Rolling Thunder》, the thunder roars again and it ignites the passion and spirit of the past years.

《春雷动地》共分为5幕，序曲舞出国家独立全民欢腾，第一幕《黝黑的春天》叙述种族冲突，人民生活在恐惧与伤痛中。第二幕《红色的闷雷》回溯带有左翼色彩、有凤凰、长江演员组成的香港银星艺术团获准前来大马演出，此次演出引起轰动，也埋下了文艺的种子，激发马大华文学会推出《春自人间来》表演及随后串联而成的全国性大型文艺表演《春雷》。第三幕《白色的动荡》演示华文教育斗士林连玉为捍卫华文教育而被遞夺公民权及万人出席他的葬礼的画面。第四幕《黄昏的大地》表演华族精英前扑后继提呈十五华团宣言，提出华族的诉求，逾百人在1987年的‘茅草行动’中被扣留……尾声《因为这个国家》描述朝阳初醒，全民紧握共创未来。
《Rolling Thunder》is divided into 5 chapters, the overture celebrates the independence of our country where all races dance joyfully. The first chapter 《The Black Spring》 tells the incident of ethnic conflict and the people are living in pain and sorrow. The second chapter 《The Red Thunder》traces back the performance of the Silver Star Arts Group in Malaysia which led to the production of 《Spring of The Earth》 and 《Spring Thunder》. In the third chapter 《The White Upheaval》 presents the abolishment of nationality of the pioneer of our Chinese education, Lin Lian Geok. The fifth chapter 《The Yellow Earth》 performs the elites and intellectuals of Chinese community continual presentation of the memorandum demanding for the local Chinese community and ends up with more than 100 people arrested during the ‘Thatch Action’. Lastly, a scenario of all residents arise, together, creating a better future and sing out our love for the country in the finale 《Because of You, My Country》.

为了美好的信念与国家的未来，推动历史前进的人们付出了惨痛的代价，诗人傅承德激昂慷慨地写到：“是这些人，为如今的大马及华社拨开云雾、是这些人，为下一代传下建设与争取的勇气和责任、是这些人，以血、一泪、以自由、以生命，照明了前路，点燃了希望，奠定了典范！”

When he’s on stage, he will leave the original him behind, turning into another person. The stage makes his life full with passion and he even gets much more than normal people as he accepts himself and his achievements touch the hearts and win the applause from the others!

“他以黑蛇的身份出场，那种逼真的“蠕动”，那种气势加上表情，马上征服了观众的情绪。可以有这般优越的表现，除了归功于平时有锻炼天生已经均匀漂亮的体格，还有就是苦练演技的精神，他用心揣摩角色该有的表情和情绪已不在话下。”
His appearance on stage, with the character of the serpent, the lifelike squirming and the impressive imposition of emotion took the minds of the audiences immediately. To have such excellent performance, his well-trained body figure, his hard work of practicing his acting and his continual fathoming of the facial expressions and emotions have achieved a synergistic result.

The full-length contemporary dance piece 'Black & White @ VARIATION' of Dua Space Dance Theatre received overwhelming response from the audience since its premiere in April. The piece successfully surged the audience again during its rerun in August! After the rerun, 《Go! Theatre》interviewed the founders of Dua Space Dance Theatre, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap, and also the dancer Chung Hong Tsin to talk about the successful performances.

歌舞剧《敦马哈迪》即将重演 'Tun Mahathir' Musical Season 2 is coming!

广受观众席爱的大型歌舞剧《敦马哈迪》续今年演出成功后，乘胜追击，决定于2011年1月21日至30日假国家剧院重演，让更多想观赏这部述说我国政治巨人敦马哈迪医生故事的舞台演出的观众有机会再次欣赏这部剧作。首演时，共享空间舞者们被邀请参与这部大型歌舞剧，马金泉老师则被邀请担任编舞。这一次，马老师被主办单位委任为舞蹈总监，希望把作品的水准提高至更上一层楼！同样的，共享空间的舞者们将会参与这部作品的演出，呈现一幕幕精彩的舞蹈及戏剧！

'Tun Mahathir' Musical was well received by the public after its premier this year, thus, the organizer has decided to have it rerun and here comes 'Tun Mahathir' Musical Season 2 from 21st January to 30 January in Istana Budaya. Previously, Dua Space was invited to participate in this large scale production and our founder, Mr Anthony Meh was invited to become one of the choreographers in the musical. This time, Anthony was appointed as the Dace Director for the musical and they hope to bring this production to a higher level! At the same time, dancers of Dua Space will also join the production, presenting wonderful dance pieces and chapters of the musical!

2010年的21世纪国际艺术节从11月22日至26日，于云顶国际会展中心举行舞蹈、华月及铜乐队的比赛，参赛队伍来自马来西亚、新加坡、菲力宾等国家。共享空间专业舞团创办人马金泉有幸被邀请担任这一次舞蹈比赛的评审之一。除了评审的工作，马老师也于比赛结束后，在主办单位的安排下为参赛的队伍教授舞蹈课。

21st Century International Arts Festival 2010 was held from 22rd November to 26th November in Genting International Convention Centre, including dance, Chinese orchestra and brass band competition. The participating groups were from Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines etc. The founder of Dua Space Dance Theatre, Mr Anthony Meh was honoured to be invited as one of the judge panel for the dance competition. Under the arrangement of the organizer, Anthony gave classes for the participants after the competition.

史诗歌舞剧Epic Musical《春雷动地RollingThunder》

由隆雪华堂及林连玉基金会联合主办、马来西亚文化创业基金会承办、联合著名诗人暨大将出版社社长傅承得、著名音乐人周金亮、林明志老师领导的安乐书窝逾60名青少年，联合共享空间专业舞团舞者，马金泉老师为总编舞的大型史诗舞台演出。这项演出订于今年华教节期间（12月18及19日）在隆雪华堂光前堂演出。向70及80年代的华社前輩致敬。他們以血、以淚、以自由和生命，點燃了希望，照明了前路，也奠定了典範。

Co-organized by The KL & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall, LLG Cultural Development Centre, combining local famous poet, Mr Poh Seng Titt, who is also the president of Mentor Publication Sdn Bhd, famous musician Mr Chow Kam Leong, 60 students from The Book Nest under the leading of Mr Lim Ming Chee and the dancers of Dua Space, with Mr Anthony Meh as the dance director, ‘Rolling Thunder’, a Chinese epic musical performance will be presented in KL and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall on 18th and 19th December 2010. This performance is to salute the seniors of Chinese community who contributed their hard works and sweats for the future of local Chinese in this country.

《春雷动地》史诗歌舞剧是一项综合演出，以歌、舞、诗为主。歌舞剧共有四幕，前后外加序曲和尾声，我们通过事件切入、歌曲贯穿、舞蹈扩张，带给国人对这一段历史情感一个重新的认知。用音乐，让观众因为旋律的起承转合而把剧情的细节深刻记录；用舞蹈，通过肢体语言加剧情感的起伏进而身感其重、其痛、其喜、其乐。

"Rolling Thunder" is an epic musical is a performance combining singing, dancing and poetry. The musical divides into 4 chapters, excluding overture and finale. Through the happening of historical incidents, and the combination of songs and dance, to bring the history towards the eyes of the audience.

Dua Space performed new piece 'The heArt Sutra of Zen' for the launching of the new book "The heArt of Business" by the Managing Director of Eu Yan Sang Mr Lok Eng Hock

余仁生董事经理骆荣富的《行销心经—颠覆行销：马来西亚实战个案2》新书分享会于11月3日（星期三）下午2点半在成功时代广场酒店举行。
共享空间也特别为此新书呈现一支精彩的舞蹈，名为《禅意心经》，由著名舞蹈家马金泉老师编舞！另外，马金泉老师也是当天的嘉宾之一，将为其新书发言致词。
2005年出版《收银机响不停—颠覆行销：马来西亚实战个案1》及2007年出英文版的The Cash Register Rings Non-Stop后，余仁生董事经理骆荣富带来了回馈社会的另一种方式，以新书《行销心经—颠覆行销：马来西亚实战个案2》，总结30年来的市场行销经验，无私的与国家社会，尤其是华商企业共同分享，希望有心人从中受益！

After his first publish of (Chinese Version in 2005 and English Version in 2007), now he comes back with his new book to share his experience enrolling in the business field for 30 years. Mr Lok Eng Hock, the Managing Director of Eu Yan Sang had his new book launched on 3rd November in Berjaya Times Square Hotel. He interpreted his writing as the other way of paying back to the community and he hopes his sharing could help the others to achieve higher in their career and business in the future.
Dua Space Dance Theatre was invited to perform a specially choreographed dance piece for the launching ceremony. Our founder, Anthony Meh delivered his speech as a good friend of Mr Lok during the ceremony!

Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2010 was held in Midvalley Exhibition Centre from 29th October to 31th October. It was a joy of gathering for fans of photography! During the festival, Dua Space took the chance to present some photos of our dance pieces to let the public witness the development of local performing arts! The photography partners of Dua Space, Wong Kim Kiat (KK Wong) and Dev Lee was nominated as the Best Photographer of the Year! Congratulation!

共享空间受邀参与国家级的大制作，歌舞剧《敦马哈迪》，马金泉老师受邀位编舞，一连16天演出19场这部述说我国第四任首相敦马哈迪医生故事的歌舞剧演出。原定位的13场演出获得观众热烈的反应后，制作组决定加演至19场，让这部歌舞剧成为史上在国家剧院演出最长时间的制作。该剧为时2小时45分钟，也是在众多假国家剧院演出的作品中属最长的一部歌舞剧！

Dua Space was invited to participate in the performance of 'Tun Mahathir' Musical and Anthony Meh was invited to become one of the choreographers. This musical performed 19 shows in Istana Budaya in 16 days and it tells the story of our 4th Prime Minister, Dr. Tun Mahathir. The original first 13 shows were totally sold out, upon the good response from the audience, the production team decided to add another 6 performances, making it a total of 19 performances and this has broken the record of Istana Budaya as it becomes the most number of performances ever had in Istana Budaya. The 2-hour-and-45-minute musical was also the longest musical ever performed in Istana Budaya!

11 & 18-09-2010 半山芭艺术祭《游艺走月》演出 Performing in Pudu Arts Festival ‘Moon Walk’

社区活动在马来西亚是极少数的活动。今年，由余仁生赞助，失落年代主办的《游艺走月——半山芭艺术祭》从9月11日至26日，在半山芭一带举办多项艺术及文化活动，希望带动整个市区一起挖掘及发现属于半山芭的历史及文化。

Community project is a rare activity in Malaysia. This year, The Lost Generation organized ‘Pudu Arts Festival – Moon Walk’ under the sponsorship of Eu Yan Sang from 11th to 26th of September which included many artistic and cultural activities around Pudu area, hoping to guide the whole community of the area to refresh and discover the history and cultures of Pudu area.

舞团受邀参与艺术祭于11日举行推介礼以及18日的重点演出。共享空间特意为这次的两场演出精心炮制了《大马新传》的精髓版，给观众带来一段历史的回溯，让大家目睹马来西亚华人的先贤们离乡背井远渡南来的一幕。

Dua Space was invited to perform during the opening ceremony of the festival on 11th September and the main performance day on 18th September. Dua Space presented the featured version of ‘Anak Malaysia’ during these two performances in order to lead the audience back into the history where the ancestors of Malaysian Chinese community moved to this land from China.

《思乡曲》，以客家、潮州、广东及福建带出华人南来马来亚半岛时对祖国的思念。

《追根》，由世界轮椅冠军及共享空间专业舞者钟丰琎独舞演出，带出现在华人对身份认同的思索。

《渡海》，带出阿公阿嬷渡海南来的真实历史故事，由舞蹈家叶忠文领衔演出。

歌舞剧《敦马哈迪》将于9月24日至10月4日在国家剧院上演，歌颂这位在马来西亚历史上的政治巨人的成长故事及事迹。共享空间续歌舞剧《汉丽宝》、《陈祯禄》、《Lantai T. Pinkie》后，再次被邀请参加如此大型的歌舞剧演出。而舞团创办人马金泉老师则被邀请成为编舞之一。此外，剧中男女主角分别邀请了当红马来演员Ezma Daniel， Zizan Nin以及Erra Fazira演出，加上其他演员及舞者，演出者人数超过130人！

'Tun Mahathir' Musical will be staged from 24 September to 4th October in Istana Budaya and it tells the story of this politic giant of Malaysia history. Dua Space is honoured to be invited again after 'Hang Li Po' Musical, 'Cheng Lock' and 'Lantai T. Pinkie' to participate in such a large scale production. And the founder of Dua Space, Anthony Meh is invited to become one of the choreographers for the production. Besides, the musical has invited famous actors and actress which include Ezma Daniel, Zizan Nin and Erra Fazira to take the leading roles of the musical. Adding on the other actors and dancers, the number of performer exceeds 130 people!

于9月2日，在国家剧院举行了此歌舞剧的预览会，主办单位邀请了多位赞助商以及媒体出席。观众都对这一场盛大的歌舞剧抱着满怀希望，希望看见这位领袖的传奇人生呈现在舞台上。这里贴上预览会中共享空间舞者联合国家剧院舞者呈献，由马老师编排的舞蹈《Teduhan Cinta（爱的咏叹）》。

The preview of the musical was held on 2nd September in Istana Budaya where sponsors and media were invited to attend the event. The audience was really eager to see the legend of Tun Mahathir to be presented on stage. Here, attached is the piece, choreographed by Anthony Meh, presented by dancers of Dua Space and Istana Budaya which was presented during the preview -- 'Teduhan Cinta'.

踏入第130+1周年（即131周年），余仁生集团举办了别开生面的一场周年庆晚宴！当晚，余仁生承诺赞助舞团今年的活动经费，以及全力支持舞团的演出！感谢余仁生在舞团踏入第12个年头，协助舞团在未来展翅高飞！Celebrating its 130+1 Anniversary (which means 131 Anniversary), Eu Yan Sang had organized a special appreciation dinner! On that night, Eu Yan Sang promised to sponsor the activity expenses of Dua Space for the whole year and to support the performances of Dua Space. We really appreciate Eu Yan Sang’s kind deed which will help Dua Space to move further in the future!

Organised by Eu Yan Sang, a dinner with the theme of Shang Hai Night was held in Noble Oriental Restaurant. During that night, we could see guests dressing in the wearing of that era. The founders of Dua Space Dance Theatre, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap performed in Hong Kong 'Contemporary Dance Showcase - Asian Male Episode' on 23rd and 24th July and in The 7th Guang Dong Modern Dance Festival on 27th July. They presented their new choreography .

Local Buddhist Magazine 《PUMEN》had interviewed Anthony and came out with an article titled "Dance With Silent Language - Interview of Anthony Meh Kim Chuan". The article descrides how Anthony uses his body language, the silent language, to tell his personal feeling and the thoughts of the Chinese community in Malaysia.

由隆雪华堂及林连玉基金会联合主办，马来西亚文化创业基金会承办，《春雷动地》史诗歌舞剧订于今年12月18日假隆雪华堂光前堂举行。这项综合了歌、舞及诗的演出是为了向1970年代及80年代的前辈致敬。另外也借助此项演出，为华总20年行动方略以及林连玉基金筹募活动经费。
Organized by Chinese Assembly Hall and Lim Lian Geok Cultural Development Centre, an epic musical dance drama named 《Rolling Thunder》will be staged on 18th December 2010 in Chinese Assembly Hall. This performance which includes songs, dances and poems is to salute the leaders of Chinese community in the 70’s and 80’s. Besides, it is also to summarize what our elders had done within these 20 years and to raise fund for Lim Lian Geok Cultural Development Centre.

自我国独立后至80年代，是国家与华社风起云涌的时代，带着恐慌的心理，一些理想消逝；怀抱改革的热诚，一些期盼升起，在迷惑与纷乱中，许多人为了信念与家国未来，付出惨痛的代价，是这些人，为如今的我们拨开云雾，是这些人，为下一代传下建设与争取的勇气和责任，是这些人，以血以泪丶以自由以生命，指点了前路丶点燃了希望丶奠定了典范。演出通过事件切入丶歌曲贯穿和舞蹈扩张，重现70丶80年代重要史实的声光音影。
Since our independence till the late 80’s, it was the era when our nation and the Chinese community developed. Many had contributed for what we have now. They had struggled hard for building the community that we seen now with their hands. During the performance, by taking scenes of important incidents, linking with songs and dances, the actual history of 70’sand 80’s will be presented on stage.

共享空间专业舞团创办人马金泉及叶忠文将于7月20日至30日间赴香港参与《亚洲当代舞林汇演之AM篇》及在广州举行的第7届广东现代舞周，演出他们的最新作品《X禅》以及举行大师班授课。
The founders of Dua Space, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap will be performing in Hong Kong and Guang Zhou from 20th to 30th July in ‘Contemporary Dance Showcase - Asian Male Episode' and Guang Dong Modern Dance Festival repectively , presenting their latest choreography, 'X-Zen' and giving lectures in master classes of dance.

说无意，但柳暗花明，观者自观，个味其中。
It is a specious thing; however, what you see in your eyes is your greatest savour.

以太极八卦的黑白异象为根本：白为阳，也为真实体像；黑为阴，为幻化体像。白为实，黑为虚，黑白之间在舞台上跳衍成一体两面虚实相合的互动关系，比喻“人生是一场自己与另一个自己的斗争，顾与不顾，合与不合，顺与逆，白与黑，冲突与和谐等等对比反应”。音乐跳脱一般“东方禅舞”的旧框，以极为现代音乐及手法编创，以超实现的形象舞说禅意。
The choreography based on Tai-Chi where White, the Yang (positive), is the reality; Black, the Ying (negative), is the virtual illusion. Interaction between the black and white in the dance will present the interrelationship of reality and illusion, giving the message of ‘Life is a fight between yourself and the other you, like moving forward and backward, white and black, contrast and harmony and etc’.

'Contemporary Dance Showcase - Asian Male Episode’ is one of the series of contemporary dance programs organized by E-Side Dance Company partnering with Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre. In this program, they aim to invite Hong Kong local famous dance artists, dance companies and more rookies in dance industry to stage their creations.

Besides, E-Side Dance Company also works to promote exchange of dance cultures between Hong Kong and the other countries. 'Contemporary Dance Showcase - Asian Male Episode' has invited dance artists from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia to present their pieces in the performance. “Six male dance artists from different Asian cities, Six choreographers of distinctive styles, A rendezvous for cultural and art exchange, Stimulating the creativity and vibrancy of dance in Asia”. With male dance artists as the theme, they aim to encourage more males to approach contemporary dance and to understand different possibilities of dance arts. The audience not only can watch their great performance but also able to have a close interaction with the masters during the master classes arranged by the organizing party.

第七广东现代舞周，将于7月24日至30日在广州举行。现代舞周自2004年在广州开展以来，已成为广州独树一帜的文化品牌，备受国际注视。现代舞周亦一直坚持到访舞蹈艺术家须与国内艺术家交流，已成为中国现代舞的国际窗口。
Since its inauguration in 2004, the Guangdong Modern Dance Festival has successfully gained national and international recognition as the most important modern dance festival in China. Every year, hundreds of young Chinese choreographers and dancers gather in Guangzhou to present their new works in the Festival. The festival has also featured the foremost international modern dance innovators, and has grown into the hub of Chinese modern dance development where new ideas are turned into reality.

The theme of the coming festival is “Discover Asia”. In recent years, Asia has been gaining recognition for its important role in global economic and political development. 共享空间专业舞团今年2010年的年度创作《黑白·变》已于4月8日至11日圆满结束。每一场演出结束，舞团让人惊艳的表现都让观众为之惊叹，纷纷报以长达数分钟的掌声及欢呼声。由于观众的反应热烈及众多未来得极观赏演出的朋友的要求，所以舞团决定在8月重演这个以人性及环境为主题的作品。

The annual production of Dua Space Dance Theatre in 2010 named had ended in 8-11 April. After every show ended, our astonishing performance impressed the audience and they rewarded us with applause that lasted for a few minutes. Due to the overwhelming response from the audience, we decided to have this production re-run in August.

03-06-2010 出发咯! Taking off!

中午12点，大家在双福总部集合享用午餐。饱饭一顿后，一起把行李及用具等物件安顿好在巴士上，就浩浩荡荡地启程咯！中途在休息站享受下午茶的时候，小食档的马来老板娘还特意报效我们一箱饮用水。实在感激不尽！
After having lunch in Shuang Fu, everyone worked together to move all the luggage and things onto the bus. Then, here we go! Departing to Penang! We rested in Tapah for a tea break. There was a good-hearted Malay Makcik gave us a box of drinking water for free! So good of her! Really thanks her a lot!

一路向北的车程在7点钟左右结束。抵达北海后，我们便和槟城狮子会的朋友会合，然后到餐馆吃晚餐。晚餐后就移师槟岛入住酒店休息，为第二天的演出作准备。
The journey heading north ended about 7pm. Upon reaching Butterworth, we met up with the friends from New Century Lions Club of Penang Island before going for dinner. After having a satisfying meal, we moved our steps to Penang Island and got rested for the ext day’s show.

04-06-2010 槟州大会堂《因为有你生命更美》关怀之夜 The First Performance in Dewan Sri Penang

由槟岛新世纪狮子会主办，为槟城伊甸残障中心筹款。由于是第一场，大家心情格外紧张。早餐后便到演出地点进行彩排。彩排大约在下午5点半结束。接着，大家马不停蹄地开始化妆准备。演出8点开始，一切进行得相当顺利。节目包括了共享空间联合双福表演艺术团队呈现的多支舞蹈外，还有双福柔佛分会的手语班团员的演出以及失明的麦嘉欣的歌唱演出。观众在欣赏节目后，都深深地被感动，以最为响亮的掌声给演出者尽心尽力的演出鼓励加油。
Organized by New Century Lions Club of Penang Island, the first performance was to raise funds for Eden Handicap Service Centre. After breakfast, we moved to the venue of performance, Dewan Sri Penang, to do rehearsal for the performance at night. The rehearsal ended around 5.30pm and we continued to get ready for the performance, starting with make up and hair-do. The show started at 8pm. Everything went smooth and well, including dance performances of Dua Space Dance Theatre with Shuang Fu Performing Arts Troupe, sign language performances from Johor Bahru Shuang Fu branch and songs presented by a blind singer and the rest of the member. Audience was touched by the performance presented whole-heartedly by the members of the performing tour and they rewarded us with great applause as encouragement!

05-06-2010 移师大山脚 Moving to Bukit Mertajam

完成了第一场演出后，大家好好地休息了一晚。由于没有特别行程安排，大家就睡得比较晚。中午集合出后发到大山脚去。中途，主办单位还带大家到海边吃海鲜呢！实在感谢狮子会的热情款待！
The next day, after getting enough rest, we woke up a bit late since there was no specific scheduled event. We took off from Penang and headed to Bukit Mertajam. Along the journey, the representative from Lions Club treated us a seafood meal as lunch. Really appreciate their hospitality!

吃饱后，大伙儿到附近的商业广场逛逛。过后，大家继续往大山脚出发。在大山脚，我们住在一所十分庞大的独立式房子。分配好房间后就休息休息。晚上吃完晚餐后就回住所睡觉咯！
After having fish, prawns, crabs and etc as lunch, we went to nearby shopping mall for a ‘walk’ before continuing the journey to Bukit Mertajam. We stayed in a huge bungalow with a lot of rooms. After we distribute the room for all and then, dinner was served. After dinner, everyone went back for rest.

06-06-2010 大山脚日新独中礼堂《爱相助，心相连》关怀之夜 Performance in Bukit Mertajam

第二场的演出是为芥子儿童启发中心筹款，由大山脚圣安德长老教会主办。今天的演出节目大致上和上一场相同，所以彩排的时间比较短。大约4点钟就结束了。剩下的就是演出准备的功夫咯。
This second performance was to raise fund for Mustard Seed Children Gym. The program performed was basically the same with the previous one, so, the rehearsal time was shortened and ended about 4pm. What remaining was the preparing work.

这一站的观众为数最多，当晚座无虚席，观众的反应也非常热烈。当晚还有很多认识双福的朋友到场支持，大家就在这浓浓的感动气氛下完成了今天的演出。
接下来的欢乐时段莫过于到小食中心去cari makan(找吃)咯！
Today’s performance was attended by most numerous audiences and their response was very overwhelming. There were a lot of friends who know Shuang Fu came to support the show. After the performance, the happy our had come – Supper Time!

07-08-2010 亚罗士打吉华独中礼堂《完美双福完美人生》Performance in Alor Setar

今天会是相当累的一天，早上在大山脚的住处吃过早餐后，便启程到下一站——亚罗士打吉华独中礼堂，为晚上的演出做彩排。两个小时的车程后，我们终于到达演出场地。由于时间紧逼，大家得加快手脚，在最短的时间内完成彩排！彩排结束后，大家就马不停蹄的开始化妆准备演出！
We left Bukit Mertajam after breakfast and heading for Alor Setar, the next stop. It would be a tiring day. Once we reached the performing venue after a 2 hour of travel, we straight away started the rehearsal. Since there was limited time for the rehearsal, we have to get things done very very fast.

当晚，由马来西亚亚罗士打国际青年商会主办的演出是给双福残障自强发展协会筹款，另外还给一位截肢的女生筹款。演出结束后，主办单位的工作人员还给每一位参与演出的演出者献上鲜花，让大家好开心。北马巡回演出，就在这温馨快乐的气氛下画下完美的句点。
Organized by Junior Chamber International Alor Setar, besides raising fund for Dhuang Fu itself, there was another amputee girl who received charity fund from JCI as well. After the performance, the organizing party presented each of us a flower and this made all the performers so happy. The performance tour ended in such a warm atmosphere.

这一次，能够参与这一场意义非凡的演出，相信大家心里头都十分感动。感动得不是成功地把演出完成了，而是见证了双福所谓的“自强”。同样身为残障人士的团员门，除了在舞台上挥洒着汗水，也帮助其它残障团体筹款，让双福的自强精神得到最完美的诠释。另外，这一次与大家通信，一路上给大家最无微不至的照顾的导游小姐——爱芬也让大家十分感动。在学校假期的同时，她毅然推开其他旅行团，自愿参与我们这一次的巡演。这一次的演出能够成功，她当然功不可抹。
带着疲惫的身躯及饱满的心灵，这一趟行程就这样——回家去了！

This time, to be able to participate in such a performance tour, I believed that every member of the tour was very touched deep in their heart. The spiritual elevation did not come from the success of performing great on styage but to witness the 'independence' of Shuang Fu. With their members who are also handicap, besides performing well on stage, they help to raise fund for other handicap and charity bodies.Other than that, our tour guide, Miss Ai-Fern who took care the all of us for this few days not only appear to be only a tour guide, but also help us in a lot of way. During this trip, it was school holiday, which was said to be the peak season for travelling agency. However, she volunteered herself to join our tour and I can say, without her, our trip might ended misearbly. Really thanks her a lot.
So then, this ends our journey this time, with a worn body and loadful spirit.

地平线有声出版社正在筹备出版《职业明星》有声书。全书选出马来西亚在各个工作领域里表现杰出的人物，访问他们在自己的职业中如何找到自己的价值及对自己工作的感想及故事。舞团创办人兼总监马金泉老师获选成为舞蹈明星。同样在表演艺术界获选的也包括了电影明星何宇恒导演。

The founder and Managing Director of Dua Space, Anthony Meh Kim Chuan was selected as 'Dance Star' in the book of 'Career Star' which will be published soon. The book have selected outstanding personnel from different industry to talk about their career. As in the arts industry, Anthony was selected to represent the dance field and local famous director, YuHang Ho represented the filming filed.

海地地震至今已事隔一段日子，目前正积极投入于重建工作中。由45个佛教团体携手合作展开一系列的活动，希望透过活动筹得善款，帮助海地的灾黎。‘慈悲之音’文化义演是由多个佛教团体著名合唱组联合呈现，在吉隆坡冼都王岳海礼堂举行。舞团也在演出中义演呈现舞蹈，帮助筹募赈灾基金。
It have been a while since the earthquake in Haiti and now, they are eagerly working to reconstruct the nation. 45 Buddhist societies collaborates to organize a series of charity events to raise fund for the victims. 'The Sound of Compassion' is a stage performance presented by Buddhist choirs in the HGH Hall in Sentul. Dua Space also performed for charity in the performance, hoping to raise fund for helping Haiti.

《黑白·变》演出成功 A Success of

2010年共享空间长篇现代舞创作《黑白变》已圆满结束。原定的4场演出门票全数售罄，舞团另加演下午场，同样爆满。谢谢大家的支持及出席每一天的演出。每一场演出，舞者们透过身体，以精湛的舞姿带领观众走入五个不同的章节。在这五个不同的章节里，观众能够看到的只有黑色与白色。但他们所领会到的、感受到的，绝对不只是黑白两色，而是让人反思人性的沦陷及大自然被破坏所给人类自身带来的结局及我们是否要继续现在的从如此的黑变回原来的白？每一场演出结束后，观众持续数分钟的掌声，让台前幕后所有的演员及工作团队十分感动。

The full length contemporary dance piece from Dua Space Dance Theatre had ended. Tickets for all 4 shows aere sold out and we had decided to add another matinee show and it was full-housed. Thanks for supporting and your presence during the performance. Every show, dancers led the audience through 5 chapters with their bodies and amazing dance techniques. Through this 5 different chapters, the audience could see only black and white colors but they will get and feel not only black and white. This is a performance that makes people think of what humanity corruption and environmental destruction will bring us in the future and are we suppose to continue this black life or revert to the original white? Once every show finished, the audience rewarded the performance with applause for minutes and this really touched and encouraged the performers and the crews.

舞团被邀请演出于从4月2日至4日，在Pavillion举行的马来西亚第一方程式文化汇演，呈现多支华族及现代舞。Pavillion是吉隆坡著名的购物商场及旅游景点，所以人潮很多。很多外国观光客对舞者精彩的演出留下深刻的印象极赞叹不已。

Dua Space was invited to perform in Formula 1 Malaysia Cultural Festival from 2nd to 4th April in Pavillion, presenting a few Chinese and contemporary dance. Pavillion is a famous shopping centre in Kuala Lumpur and as a tourist spot, there was a lot of people there. Many foreigners was impressed by the performance of the dancers.

12~14-03-10 《舞迹可循》第四届全国华族舞蹈公开赛 The 4th National Chinese Cultural Dance Open Competition

本地著名编舞家马金泉老师有幸被邀请成为第四届全国华族舞蹈公开赛的评审之一。这一次的全国舞蹈公开赛命名为《舞迹可循》，在马六甲举行。其他评审包括来自马六甲、北京及新加坡舞蹈圈内有名望的舞蹈大师。能够被邀请当评审确实是马老师的荣幸，也让马老师能够亲眼见证及贡献于本地的舞蹈发展。

Local famous choreographer, Anthony Meh Kim Chuan was invited by the 4th National Chinese Cultural Dance Open Competition as one of the judges. The competition was held in Panggung Seri of Taman Budaya in Ayer Keroh, Melaka from 12th to 14th March. Besides, Anthony Meh, the judge panel also includes judges from Melaka, Beijing and Singapore. It was an honor for Anthony to be appointed as one of the judges to witness the development and to contribute for local Chinese cultural dance. At the same time,

舞团也被邀请在舞蹈比赛中呈现节目，包括一支以水袖结合新颖的编舞方式带出情感及讯息的舞蹈作品，希望能够让观众从中得到启发。

During The 4th National Chinese Cultural Dance Open Competition, Dua Space Dance Theatre performed as the guests performing group, presenting three dance pieces, choreographed by Anthony Meh, including a newly choreographed piece that uses long sleeve, combining with modern choreography methods, presenting a new way of creating a Chinese dance that conveys emotions and messages in a dance piece which can be very inspiring to the audience.

此外，马老师也在最后一天给参赛的队伍讲课，让大家能够从他的分享中学习到一些舞蹈创作的知识。

Besides, Anthony delivered a talk during the last day of the competition. He hoped to inspire the dancers and choreographers that participate the competition, giving them new concepts in dancing and choreographing so that they could improve more in the future.

11/03/2010 《颜染舞色》演出于印尼雅加达东盟最佳表演艺术节 ‘Image of Colors’ Performed in The Best of ASEAN Performing Arts

马金泉老师的作品《颜染舞色》被国家文化局遴选为其中一只能够代表国家艺术水平作品，并参与3月11日在印尼首都雅加达举办的东盟最佳表演艺术节。这一项演出希望通过民族舞蹈艺术与东盟各个国家的代表进行交流，达成以文化建立邦交的目的。这已是第五届的东盟最佳表演艺术节，马来西亚不仅呈现传统民族舞蹈，也加入了现代舞及现代民族舞蹈。《颜染舞色》将以马来西亚领衔的现代舞的荣耀，在艺术节中隆重登场！这一只舞码是为了追悼我国已故著名画家Ahmad Jamal而编创，曾于2009年第八届国家艺术奖颁奖礼中呈现。这一次能够代表马来西亚到雅加达演出，的确是共享空间12年来的努力所换来的荣耀！

舞团4位舞者参与了这次的演出。他们除了把《颜染舞色》呈现给各国的来宾们外，也参与了多支传统及现代民族舞蹈，给观众带出马来西亚多元文化的特色。

‘Image of Colors’, a contemporary dance piece choreographed by Anthony Meh was selected by the National Department of Culture and Arts (Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara, JKKN) under as the leading contemporary dance piece in Malaysia to participate in the performance of The Best of ASEAN Performing Arts 2010 in Jakarta during 11th March 2010. The aim of the performance is to showcase ASEAN’s best arts and cultural performances on a regular basis to promote the region’s rich and diverse cultures and achieve the motive of establishing friendship among ASEAN countries via cultural aspects. This year, Malaysia will present not only traditional dances but also fusion and contemporary dances during this performance. ‘Image of Colors’ was created originally to commemorate the deceased local famous painter, Ahmad Jamal in the 8th National Arts Awards (Anugerah Seni Negara Ke-8) in 2009. This time, it was presented to the invited international guests of Best of Asean Performing Arts, it is really an honor for Dua Space Dance Theatre and it is an achievement that Dua Space proud of since its 12 years of establishment in Malaysia.

Four dancers from Dua Space Dance Theatre will join the performing troupe of Malaysia Besides presenting Anthony’s choreography, they will also join the other dancers in part of the traditional dances, bringing the multi-racial scenery of Malaysia to the eyes of the international guests.

他没有一纸的舞蹈专科文凭，从小也没有受过专科的舞蹈训练，但是在舞台上却是众人的目光焦点，他出众的舞动就是一纸文凭，收放自如的演艺就是学院框架外的生命活力。本地著名编舞家马金泉曾说过，他这一辈子只会收12位入门弟子。他，是第一位通过马金泉严格标准，成为其第一位入室弟 -- 陈峣键

He did not received proper dance training at his young age and he never went through dance study in any dance school. Yet, he always catches the eyes of the audience when he is on stage. His outstanding dance performance is the certificate of dancing and it is a strength that he holds which is not something you can learn from the syllabus of a dance school.

Local famous choreographer Anthony Meh said that he will only take 12 acknowledged students in his life. Kent is the first who passed Anthony’s strict requirements and became the first acknowledged student.

他现为共享空间专业舞团资深舞者及排练助理，协助舞蹈家马金泉及叶忠文在创作作品时的排演工作。

He is now the experienced dancer and the rehearsal master of Dua Space Dance Theatre, assisting the choreographers, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap in the general rehearsal.

陈峣键 Kent Tan

03年参加共享空间专业舞团，因对舞蹈的挚爱及自身的发奋，使他从一名年涩及舞蹈资历稚浅的舞者迈入舞者风范俱佳的男性舞者。他干净利落的肢体舞动及演绎戏剧性角色的精湛，令他在舞剧《后羿与嫦娥》中担任奸臣逢蒙一角极为出位，在全国巡回演出中被评为“除了2位主要主角外，不得不提的就是演出逢蒙的陈峣键，尤其是在其中一场逢蒙谋反的剧情中，一方面博得后羿的信任，一方面又担心诡计被嫦娥拆穿，复杂的神情在瞬间变化，演技出色” 。
他现为共享空间专业舞团资深舞者及排练助理。
他曾远赴英国伦敦、巴基斯坦、印尼雅加达、新加坡及马来西亚各州属巡回演出。他演绎过的舞蹈作品有国家文化部主办的歌舞剧<汉丽宝>、<敦陈祯禄>、<马和欢>、、舞剧<后羿与嫦娥>、环境舞蹈剧<章诒和与游川～往事并不如烟>、动地吟之<卧看千山>与<问签>、为四川募款的<重延希望>及<人间有爱>等近逾百个节目。
09年7月他在吉隆坡表演艺术中心公演的大型音乐舞蹈史诗<大马薪传>担任主要角色之一。

Joined Dua Space in 2003. Due to his passion in dancing and his hardworking, he becomes a leading male dancer. His neat body movements and dramatic acting make him an outstanding character in ‘The Legend of Hou Yi and Chang Er’. He is now an experienced dancer and the rehearsal master of Dua Space Dance Theatre. He have performed in London, Pakistan, Jakarta, Singapore and toured all over Malaysia. The pieces he participated include Hang Li Po Musical, Cheng Lock Musical, Ma Ho Huan Musical, Lantai T. 02-03-10 水务局新春团拜邀请弱势团体出席共庆 SYABAS Invited Charity Societies To Celebrate Chinese New Year

水务局举办的《恭喜发财》华人新年团拜邀请了双福残障自强发展协会、美门残障中心等弱势慈善团体出席共同庆新年。现场除了有准备了食物让出席的朋友们享用外，主办当局也要求各个出席的团体准备表演节目与众乐乐。舞团也出席代表双福呈现节目。主办单位还给出席的弱势朋友们送礼及派红包，让大家快快乐乐一起欢庆新春佳节。

SYABAS organized ‘Gong Xi Fa Cai’ Chinese New Year Celebration and they had invited some charity organization like Shuang Fu, Mei Men and others to attend the celebration. They had prepared food for the attending guests to enjoy and they requested every attending party to present a performance to celebrate the festival. Dua Space represented Shuang Fu to perform a dance. The organizing party also gave away present and ang pao for the attending guests.

这也是自从双福处所发生爆窃事件后得到水务局的援助，帮助双福找回一些援助金。另外，让人感动的是佛光山东禅寺也给双福这个基督教慈善团体捐助了一台投射机，证明人与人之间的互相帮忙是不分宗教身份的。

This was a help Shuang Fu got from SYABAS to obtain some donation since their chamber was robbed previously. Besides, Fo Guang San Dong Zen Temple had sponsored Shuang Fu a projector because Shuang Fu had lost theirs in the same incident. Such a touching move proves that helping people is something across the border of religion.

韩新学院生有关舞团的学术报告获得全科最高分 Assignment Report of Students From Han Xing Academy of Journalism and Communication About Dua Space Won The Highest Mark

Students from Han Xing Academy of Journalism and Communication visited Dua Space and interviewed the founders, Anthony Meh and Aman Yap, and the dancers on their personal dancing experience and how Dua Space develop dance career in Malaysia during 17th November 2009. 《年的故事The Story of Nian》演出回顾

续1月31日在柔佛新山首演《年的故事》之后，在新春期间，共享空间也把这一支作品带到各地去演出，与观众们共同庆祝新春佳节。
Since the first performance of 'The Story of Nian' in Johor Bahru, Dua Space performed this dance piece in various locations to celebrate Chinese New Year with the audiences.

15~16 & 19~20/02/10 (年初二、年初三、年初六及年初七) 雪兰莪仁嘉隆佛光山东禅寺平安灯会暨花艺展及雪兰莪州新春开放门户庆典 FGS DOng Zen Temple CNY Lantern and Floral Festival & Selangor State Chinese New Year Open House

每一年的新春佳节期间，佛光山东禅寺都会举办平安灯会暨花艺展，开放让大众参观，游客人数多达百万之多。每天晚上，主办单位还为前来赏花赏灯的人士安排精彩的文化表演。年初二、年初三及年初六晚上，舞团在东禅寺演出《年的故事》让一家大小可以一同观赏精彩的舞台演出。年初七晚上，雪兰莪州新春开放门户庆典也在佛光山东禅寺举行。庆典当晚，《年的故事》再次上演，让雪州大臣及友族同胞们可以通过舞台上的演出，了解华人新年的由来。

Every year during Chinese New Year season, Fo Guang San Dong Zen Temple will organise Lantern and Floral Festival for the public to visit the place and the tourist number exceeds 1 million people. Every nigth, they will present cultural performances for the public and Dua Space performed 'The Story of Nian' during 15, 16 and 19 Feb for the visitors of the festival. On 20 Feb, the Selangor State Chinese New Year Open House was held in Dong Zen Temple as well and we presented 'The Story of Nian' in order to offer a chance for Selangor State Minister and friends of other races to understand the origin of Chinese New Year.

18/02/10 (年初五) 森美兰马口佛光山禅静中心平安灯会 FGS Bahau CNY Lantern and Floral Festival

舞团移师到森美兰马口佛光山禅静中心平安灯会演出。一连五天的平安灯会来到年初五，也是马口佛光山平安灯会的最后一天，配合筹募马口佛光山建寺基金举办了千人素宴晚会，希望能够在这片佛光山新买下的土地上建设佛寺，让佛法普照马口的众生。当晚，佛光山总住持觉诚法师也出席为来宾们开示祈福。

Dua Space moved to Bahau in Negeri Sembilan to perform on the last day of the FGS Bahau CNY Lantern and Floral Festival. It was also the Vegetarian Dinner to raise fund for Temple Construction Foundation.
